Hello there! We are looking for creatives like yourself to join our Indie team! We have yet to name the team, but maybe you can help with that too. We're developing a game utilizing the UDK. Are you familiar with Unreal? If so, let me know. Located in the heart of NYC. We have access to many applications including Adobe Suite, Autodesk Maya, Motionbuilder, etc. We've even got a full fledged motion capture studio! We're a small [tiny] team trying to develop a AAA like game with fully produced cutscenes and animatics. If you think you can help in anyway, or have any questions, drop a comment below! Thanks, Mark |

Not quite. I did say "like." Motion capture is in the budget, is that not high quality for indie? I can change to two A's (AA). Are you interested? |

What iQew said, exactly why I posted what I did. Tripple-A is just a buzz word, much like indie, although indie has a more clear definition (being any creative effort that lacks a publisher. e.g. you have indy films, indy music, because these industries all have publishers.) Regardless of budget, to me, AAA is about quality, and then also about budget, but mostly about quality. Similar to how a movie with a sizable budget can still be called a B-grade pile of shit, just like you can have a film with a shoestring budget go on to make huge success (napoleon dynamite?) - whether YOU believe a movie like that is either good or bad is irrelevant, but what is relevant is how much success projects have, and a sure fire to way to achieve success is have a certain level of quality established by those that came before you, and the worlds reaction to them. Now, before any more people think you're some noob, I would strongly urge you to post some work, or at least a website link. |

AAA for me as mostly about quality aswell, that's why I specified and only asked about money, as he mentioned the motion capture studio. He then replied and it became clear that he was talking about quality. I then asked for previously asked games, because all of this would be a big joke, if there are no high quality games released before this upcoming AA(A) project. -- Need some polishing for your game with beautiful VFX? I understand guys. Thanks for your insights and opinions. You see, this conversation is good. I understated the typical use of "Triple-A," considering only the quality aspects of it. Our budget is indeed fair for what we're trying to create. We are still very early in development. With that said, we're working on releasing some work soon. And I'll change/fix this thread. Our group so far is extremely experienced in producing original content for television, such as commercials/promos and shows. Both locally and nationally. With over a dozen awards from Emmy's to PromaxBDA. Most of which required: design, animation, motion graphics, animatics, cinematography, editing, directing, writing and so forth. We're just a few programmers short of an indie team! So thats why we're coming to you guys for help. If you think you can in any way, please let me know. We're particularly looking for anyone thats familiar with UDK and is local (NYC). Thanks again! Mark |

I'd be very interested. I understand you've produced original content, so this may be a silly question, but are you seeking writers? |
