Need Help! Thread

Hi, im a new user i downloaded Desura and installed the Mod The Forgotten with my CnC3 from steam. After it installed i click to play, the launcher show up, hangs for about 45 seconds then closes and the game doesnt run..
I don't know what the problem is..
Please Help.

This is a steam issue and the reason why it took so long for us to support the game, basically you need to create a txt file called steamapp with the steamapp id number in the file. Once you have done that steam will allow shortcuts to be made which is needed to launch the mod.

o kk, where do i get the id number, and where do i put it after?

call the text file "steam_appid" inside the file only put "24790" and put it in the main directory of CnC3

it works now tyvm
