My Desura crashes :( Thread

"an error has occured that is preventing Desura from running correctly. Restarting Desura should allow you to continue, otherwise you can clean your Desura by forcing an update." This message pops up everytime I try to log into my Desura program. None of the choices it suggests work. So basically I can't go into my Desura which is making me angry I really enjoy this program . Is there anyway to fix this?

Go here C:\ProgramData\Desura\DesuraApp delete the files that are not in a folder, rerun Desura.

I don't have the program data folder?

i dont understand either and why is this happeneing i have it as well

Getting this too... I tried deleting everything not in the folder and rerunning Desura, it did not work.

try re-installing Desura tell me if that dosen't work

I tried reinstall, i tried force update, i tried hitting cancel many times, but no matter what desura keeps crashing when i try to reinstall full invasion 2 and some other mods.

I tried the program data thing it worked to get desura running but if i try to install fuin2 mod it is crashing everytime when i login

What is causing this madness?

Programdata is a hidden folder by default so you need to view hidden folders for it to appear.

That is an issue with the mod having complex installs, uninstall FI2 and you will have no issues running Desura.

Dammit it was the only great efficient way we could auto update the mod for testing
