Instant teleport to the group

Idea:

1. All kinds of artists of any skill-level (writer, composer, concept artist, 3D artist, etc.) shall have an environment with dedicated other members to share experiecnes, discuss thoughts and learn every day.
2. Working on a specific theme that will be given out on a daily basis
3. By joining the chat you can always take off and just lean back, talking about art and ways to improve ones work
4. Also, you can get instant feedback from the community and don't have to wait for comments
5. Collaborations are very welcome
6. Sketchbook for any type of art, meaning to improve every day

Requirements:

1. Any skill-level welcome
2. Any kind of art
3. Having fun with what you do

To realize this project, I was thinking about using Skype as a platform. TeamViewer (teamviewer.com) may give some interesting live demos to share knowledge and collaborating with a partner becomes totally different.

Once again, I really want to emphasize that you don't need any skill in what you would like to do, everybody who wants to be creative in any way is very welcomed. It doesn't matter if you're a pro, working in the industry for years already or if you're just checking this thread by accident, but somehow always wanted to take a look at art, but never tried before.
Even if you're thinking that you'd like to create some background music for example, but you don't know any program to start with, just send me a message and I will do whatever it takes to help you getting started.

This sounds like a truly worthwhile endeavor iQew. I hope you can gain a broad enough base of interest to make it a realization !

Well, I'm not aiming for a huge community working their ass off every day. I'm just looking for a few people who just love what they do and may want to chat. It's not all about the art, but also about the social aspect of this.

And by the way, using Skype doesn't impliment we have to talk via voice messaging, so you don't need to have a microphone, I'm just using it to chat. Maybe it's easier for other people to join via MSN? I don't bother using MSN either, I've just seen that many people use Skype for groupchating in modteams.

to me this place is good enough
you are letting people know the group is there, leave the recruitment team for mods :p
skype is a good way to to communicate individual chat, group chat and option to quickly make a (group) call if needed

so good luck ^^ if i didn't completely sucked at art i would join in :p (the 2d art tag is not because of drawing skill xD)
but il say it again, you forget the contact information xD for skype this time :p

Hm, okay.

You don't have to be good at drawing or something, you can also bring in ideas about a story, it really has no requirements and it doesn't matter how detailed or planned out anything is, it's just about enjoying yourself while being creative and that doesn't need any skill.
