Farcry 2 won't fully launch Thread

I downloaded a mod (Dylan's Farcry 2 Realism Mod) and works fine, but after I mod some things in the patch file, it then seems like it doesn't want to load. When I click on any of the execution files, it does show the splash screen (when it shows the Farcry 2 name and a background image right before it goes to full screen mode), but only for a split second, and then nothing else happens. It doesn't say that the game encountered an error or anything like that.

How can I fix this? One way that I was wondering that could be a possible solution is to force load the game, like to tell the computer to load it a million times combined, just to make it load fully through (that's just my way of explaining it).
