Empty Square Entertainment: Recruiting for a New WWII FPS Title. Thread

Hello, my name is Evean Land, Founder and C.E.O. of Empty Square Entertainment. We are a new company that is looking to revitalize the gaming industry by giving the fans what they want. Right now we care currently working on a WWII FPS and are recruiting to build a passionate team.

We are looking for anyone who is skilled in...

• Modeling
• Texturing/Material Editing
• Animation and Rigging
• Concept Art
• Programmer
• Music Composition

And anyone who knows their way around Unreal Engine 4, and we are also looking for historians on the WWII era.

We would love to have you or anyone as part of the team but I have to inform you all that, because we are a new start up company with little to no funding, no one on the team will be receiving payment until our funding campaign gains some speed. Rest assured for any work you finish for the project, you WILL be compensated for. We are also not just recruiting for the game but we are also recruiting for the Company as well. We want to build a place where passionate people come to create what they feel passionate about. In this case it is a WWII era shooter.

No offense but do the fans really want another WW2 FPS?

Will there be zombies?

You sure didn't give a lot of details about this. What theater is this in? Africa? Italy? Europe? I also assume you're a programmer since you don't inquire about one within your post.

@DSDBLake: We have done mountains of research over the past few months to a year on what types of FPS's that consumer wants. Results show that most people are tired of the Cybernetics, and the Aliens (With the exception of Halo), and the whole futuristic deal. While another handful don't want another WWII FPS, There is a good amount that do, or would like to see WWII make a comeback with today's technology and graphics. That outweighs the handful that don't by quite a bit. So to answer your question, Yes fans do want another WWII Shooter.

@Fragvergnugen: As the game is still early in the development stage, we have not decided on including "Zombies" or any mode like it, but it is a fan favorite between the team and is being tossed around so keep your hopes up!

@PlanMan: The game will feature 4 theaters, Pacific, Africa, Italy, and Europe, totaling up to 4 campaigns in all. And yes, I personally am a programmer but we need more. Thank you for pointing that out. I will edit that in as well.
