Description
Biggest patch so far! Remember when I asked what direction should the mod be heading? Just kidding you get all of those goodies. New optional units, better AI, balance, historical naming, and some good campaign tweaks. You will love it! New units include the new 110pt H-5 bomber for china, and Mi-27 command helicopter for USSR, rest are optional. Optional units include a Hawk PIP III equivalent for Japan, and a downgraded Mi-17 for china called Mi-171 which had no armor no mg and carries 3he rockets.
- In climb mount narodnaya Japanese Type-90 tanks are now protected by 4 guntanks, making turn 0 heli rush a bit harder.
- In bear vs dragon some out of date units are swapped.
- 2 Tunguska replaced by 8 Biryusa.
- 4 Mi-28 replaced by 8 Mi-24P.
- Mig-29S replaced by Mig-25RBT.
- T-80A replaced by T-80B.
- 4 Buk-M1 replaced by 4 Buk.
- 2 TOR is replaced by 4 OSA AKM.
- Bear vs dragon player air unit adjusted.
- 6 J-5 replaced by 4 Q5IA
- 4 Q5IA replaced by 6 Q5I
- In 2nd korean war the tank spam is reduced in favor of better team comps.
- NK 102th tank regiment 72 Chonmaho-V is reduced to 24 V and 24 IV, however is now protected by 6 M1992 SPAAGs.
- NK 14th tank regiment chomaho V 24>16, 32 Chomaho II replaced by 24 chomaho IV.
- Chinese 34th tank regiment 50>44 ZTZ-85IIA, 36>32 ZTZ-85-III, but is now protected by 8 PGZ-95 and 8 HQ-7.
- Chinese 1st marine regiment now contains 4 recon tanks.
- Chinese “Flying dragon” rescue squad now contains 2 Z-9W TY-90.
- Soviet 12th Guards Tank regiment now protected by 4 tunguska-M.
- NK 2nd artillery convoy receives 4 pongae-3, replaced artillery with BM-21.
- NK 8th artillery convoy receives 4 BM-21.
- Busan pocket campaign player lacks recon severely.
- 24th infantry battalion receives 4 recon infantry.

New units are limited by models. I insist on making units having a model they resemble to. Carriers are out of question as they are represented by aircrfat you call in. I am thinking of adding in Arleigb Burke based on Kongo's model.

I mean, even if we get the carrier there is not much it can do. It is just for launching aircraft and is lightly armed. We can already summon planes so it is a moot point.
ok is only for complete units ships.. and some change in maps? for example like maps of airland battle with more scenarios europe?
Not even eugen can do it because maps are made differently in RD. :(

Unfortunately the AI only option would require remake the mod completely. For now choose the default option without optional units, it would retain most of the vanilla experience.

what does the creative mode do in the manager? Any chance of larger numbers of units per card in the decks and also larger starting resource points in skirmish?
Ah yes, it is only partially done and I forgot to take it out in full build. For now it only gives you more cards per unit to let you play with full modern units.
