Magically invented firearms will change the Calradian way of warfare. These new deadly long range weapons make bows and crossbow ancients. Calradian kings were the first ones who discovered the firearm technology during the medieval times and roughly started to use them. And so they built their kingdoms and become kings with following vassals. However, the firearm technology is no more just for the kings and their followers. Nowadays every calradian warrior is in love WITH GUNS and even commoner can go to a market and get one! So perhaps a new mighty ruler rises from nothing and takeover the calradian kings. Perhaps...
How do I install the mod?
- Unzip "With Guns" folder to your modules folder. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\Modules\With Guns
Recommend extra settings to make playing more fun (optional):
1. Find "rgl_config" textfile from your Mount&Blade folders. I found my "rgl_config" textfile from C:\Users\saku\Documents\Mount&Blade Warband
2. Open the "rgl_config" textfile and find lines "realistic_headshots = 0" and "battle_size = 1"
- Change realistic_headshots to 1 (this makes troops fly very nicely when they get gunned down)
- Change battle_size to little bit bigger. ("battle_size = 2.2500" is recommended.) Then there are enough troops in battlefields but not too many.)
You can change your battle_size variable to anything you want, here are some examples:
8.0833 = 1000
7.6610 = 950
7.2448 = 900
6.8305 = 850
6.4143 = 800
6.0000 = 750
5.5753 = 700
5.1591 = 650
4.7448 = 600
4.3286 = 550
3.9143 = 500
3.5000 = 450
3.0805 = 400
2.6643 = 350
2.2500 = 300

1.4143 = 200
1.0000 = 150
First number is what to put in the txt file, second number is the battle size that it will change it to.
If you still have an old "With Guns Mod" version, where grenades don't work correctly, then you can just download this mod again to fix the problem. You don't even lose your saved games when deleting your old "With Guns" folders.
