Chapters 6 is now available. Kerrigan journeys to Draenor. Featuring the Orcs from Warcraft 2! This update also fixes numerous issues.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed points spent on Infested Cairne's Endurance Aura being lost in subsequent chapters.
- Hopefully fixed the bug where larvae would occasionally cease responding to commands.
- Fixed some zerg eggs missing a death effect when killed.
- Fixed Queen's Snare not aggroing enemies.
- Fixed Aspect morphs using other races' 'Not Enough Gold/Lumber' error sounds.
- Fixed Lurker's Hold Fire command having the icon and basic tooltip of Infested Maiev's Summon Hunter Lurker ability.
- Fixed dummy units used by Queens, Defilers, and Devourers using food. This was only noticeable if the food they used was enough to push you to the next upkeep tier.
- Fixed Guardian Aspect tooltip mistakenly saying that it was called 'Devourer Aspect' and that it attacked trees.
- Fixed Destroyer missile effects mistakenly appearing when casting Plague.
- Fixed creep not being removed when the structure providing it dies.
- Fixed projectiles with the 'Instant' weapon type not appearing correctly on Lair, Hive, Extractor, Evolution Chamber, Greater Spire, Queen's Nest, and Ultralisk Cavern.
- Fixed Hatcheries being removed from control groups and selections when they finish upgrading to Lair/Hive.
- Fixed worker rally points sometimes not working.
- Fixed Drones not auto-harvesting if trained by an Infested Tree of Life and rallied to an Infested Gold Mine. You must still wait for the Gold Mine infestation to be complete for this to work properly.
Memory Leak Fixes
- Numerous memory leaks in the core systems were causing issues such as the game using more memory than it should. This should be fixed. The leaks in question include:
- Leaks caused by creep spreading.
- Leaks caused by larvae.
- Leaks from Hatchery rally lines.
- Leaks when zerg eggs hatch.
- Leaks When zerg structures or eggs die.
Chapter 2 Changes
- Re-worded the hint about Queen infestation to be more concise.
- Fixed Undead not attacking Arthas at the start (Although this was normally not visible anyway).
- Fixed Arthas not appearing in the scorescreen.
- Minor cutscene improvements.
Chapter 3 Changes
- Removed item drops from green creep camps.
- Removed Power-up drops from creeps at neutral shops.
- Grom will no longer revive while he has no Altar to revive at.
- If the AI re-builds an Altar while Grom is dead, he will resume reviving.
- Fixed Grom not appearing in the Scorescreen.
Chapter 5 Changes
- Fixed the music list being limited to two tracks.
- Fixed Kael's Phoenix not turning into an egg.
- Adjusted the terrain at the Human and Orc expansions so they don't get stuck in them when they attempt to rebuild their forces.
- Minor cutscene improvements.
Balance Changes
- Kerrigan
- Base attack cooldown decreased to 1.84 from 2.05.
- Maximum attack damage decreased by 6.
- Increased animation damage point to .525 from .350.
- Burrowed Lurkers will no longer be affected by Queen's Snare or Plague. If they are hit by these spells before they burrow, the effect will remain.
- Plague
- Now affects Undead units.
- No longer affects spell-immune units.
- Torrasque damage decreased to 48 from 67.
- Infested Units
- Fixed Zerg attack upgrades incorrectly not applying to infested units. Like Zerg units, their minimum and maximum attack damage will increase by the same amount.
- Infested Peasant: 2
- Infested Mortar: 7
- Infested Raider: 3
- Infested Crypt Fiend: 4
- Infested Frost Wyrm: 6
- Infested Hippogryph: 4
- Infested Peasant damage decreased to 11 from 12-13.
- Infested Crypt Fiend damage decreased to 25-29 from 26-31.
- Infested Frost Wyrm ground damage decreased to 85-105 from 93-115.
- Infested Frost Wyrm slow duration on heroes reduced to 3s from 10s.
- Infested Hippogryph damage decreased to 49-55 from 50-57.
- Infested Gold Mine
- Decreased build time to 45s from 60s.
- Decreased hit points to 775 from 800.
- Increased hit point regeneration to 0.62 from 0.
- Drones will now be consumed when constructing an Infested Moon Well.
Non-Balance Unit Changes
- Kerrigan now uses a new model ripped from Heroes of the Storm by Razorclaw_X. This new model has corrected attachment points, so spell & weapon effects will now appear correctly on Kerrigan.
- Drones, Zerglings, Overlords, Hydralisks, and Broodlings will now angle more naturally when moving over hills.
- Reduced Drone selection scale.
- Burrowed Zerg units no longer cast shadows.
- Zergling burrow hole now looks like other zerg burrow holes.
- Fixed missing Defiler burrow hole.
- Improved shadows of Ultralisk, Defiler, Zerg Hippogryph Rider and Zerg structures.
- Changed Queen's Armor Type (sound when melee units attack it) to Flesh instead of Ethereal.
Formation Rank Changes
This just affects how units move in a group with the formation setting on.
