Nope, you only need the 2013 SinglePlayer Base installed

gow do I launch it am new to mods ;-;
First you need to install the Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer, which is on Steam under Tools. Then you need to put the Watching Paint Dry folder into steam/steamapps/sourcemods. Then just restart your steam completely (closing with task manager and reopening works) and the mod should appear in your steam library.
the tools can be found on your steam app under the library tab btw
i downloaded it and put the files in the folder and restarted steam. nothing
Did you make sure to Download the Source SDK Base 2013, and did you also make sure you put the lowercase watchingpaintdry folder in Sourcemods?
pretty sure i did and it has capital letters in the steam app folder and source mod folder. after the third click is lower case adn read me

Yes the Stanley Parable was definitely a big inspiration for this. As of now I think there's 5 that you can count as endings, although we plan on adding much more in an upcoming update.

I can't get this to appear in my steam library.
I own source engine games like Portal and CS:S but not Half life 2, does that matter?
D:\Steam\SteamApps\sourcemods\watchingpaintdry is how I set up the directory, most of my other games are in this SteamApps folder
I have Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer installed and beta set to "upcoming -". Do I need a code?
I have restarted steam and my computer after doing everything above.
I've never played a source mod, so this probably isn't specific to your mod.

If you have a C Drive you can try moving it to that drive's SteamApps\sourcemods. And you don't need any other games as long as you have Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer. Check where the Source SDK Base is installed at and make sure they're on the same drive.
I moved both the sourcemod and the SDK to C:\ and it worked, thanks!
For reference, they were both on D:\ and it didn't work. I moved both at the same time so if you have to do both.

Can't figure out where it is, I restarted steam several times now, I have it installed along with SDK base thingy and I put it where the file goes. I require assistance.
