Preface:
This version of Nirvana has undergone some major structural changes, including a enhanced graphic engine, extension mode, and a custom race interface for follow-up development.
As for game contents, it is a early merge with guojia(uduuduuud) and chyj's version of Nirvana. For more information about future updates, please refer to this thread:

For those who might concern, I am no longer in the development of this mod. After this release, I will be releasing a Development Kit alongside with a detailed documentation showing the necessary steps about adding an extra race in Nirvana.

Program Updates:
- Changing the +/- before dll name to enbale/disable an extension.
* RenderCraft - An enhanced graphic engine for WarCraft3
- Switch to DirectX9 rendering engine.
- Support Normal Maps, Boom Effect, HDR, and Dynamic Shadows.
- Set EffectEnable=1 to enable extra effects(might cause serious performance issue).
* Custom Race Interface(More information is available in the Development Kit)
- overwrites the Race List in Nirvana.ini and loads a extra mpq on top of Nirvana.mpq.

Some hotkeys don't work, no riflemen for humans, computer AI is bad, frost wyerns are weird and worst of all, no online play or custom world edit maps :( still the mod is good tbh.
What a pity...
Thanks a lot for a new version, I find it sad that you wont continue but I think you for giving the modding comunity the possibility of continuing to work on this mod and potentially create other mods that add new races teh same way.

It appears only units get shadows. Is there a way to modify it so buildings and Doodads get real-time shadows too? Would be super-cool looking on buildings like the Magic Vualt.
Also, it appears the shadows don't tax on the system at all! The HDR and NormalMap most-certainly do, though.
Please do a lot more then just show custom races, like maybe show how to make new plugins even! This is definitely the new future for WC3 modding right here. So much could be done with this.
One big suggestion I'd like to ask is though:
Could a stand-alone version be made that is compatible with Battle.net or other Multiplayer Platforms for WC3?
I guess can. No changes, just all players use certain application.
I tried implementing shadows to buildings but the result wasn't satisfying at all :( I guess I'm not really good at graphical stuff so I will be releasing the source code of the enhanced graphic engine so that other people can give a try.
The mod is not compatible with Bnet, it can only played via lan.
How do i even install this think??

Also, wise decision to make mod scalable further, adding races, this. I thought about it in past, but I did not explore technical side of warcraft. Will observe what will it be.

Managed to download it.
The in-engine upgrades look great, but the game looks even better when I use Reshade for sharpening and filmic pass. However, every time I try to alt-tab, trying to get back in always crashes the game - regardless whether the in-engine upgrades are on or off. That doesn't happen with regular WarCraft 3.
Also night elf archers are invisible.
Night elf archers are invisible & can't be chosen. Only AI can control them xD
You can try changing the "+Nir_Plugin_RenderCraft.dll" to "-Nir_Plugin_RenderCraft.dll" in Nirvana.ini to completely disable the engine.
Does that solve your problem?

Ah, disabling the engine stopped the crashing. However, it would be cool to be able to have the Nirvanna graphic enhancements and have ReShade on as well. Those real-time shadows are awesome :)

There is an error for the DragonHawk Riders of Blood Elf faction it seems to be unable to upgrade their cloud ability. Which is strange because this worked in the previous versions!
I know you can not get Sea Drake upgrades cause no Arcane Vault. Mb same there

I couldn't be more, you see every zip i download is somehow corrupted to me, although including several files within thus i can not fulfil the instalation and play the mod, i will need new link for downloading files or a solution how to fix them...
I do the following: download the archive, unpack it, situate files in my warcraft folder, run nirvana executable.
Do you do the same? What does fail?
I download the file, unpack everything except nirvana executable cuz it's corrupted, btw i have windows 7, is that suppose to mean something?

Some bugs.
• Naga Demon hunter's aoe Draw soul spell affects spell immune units.
• Naga Hydromancer initiate can cast Summon Sea Elemental and in rank tip upgrade for her mentioned as Hydromancer Master Training.
• Cursor can not be focused on Temple of Tides and Reef Ruin while they are building. They can be selected only by surrounding with a frame.
• Blood elven Blood mage walk animation does not match distance he covers.
• Huge arrow or spear appears on the screen when some blood elf hero casts some spells. I think Bllod knight casts Holy bolt and Arcane archer casts Arcane shot.
Following is not a bug, just a thing I clapped eyes on.
• I think equal hero class names should match only equal hero classes (with equal characteristics, abilities, initial speed and like these), so naga Demon hunter class should have different name. Betrayer or like he says himself Demon within that would be ironical and fit nicely.
How can I install this mod without giving me errors, if not install the patches, I can say politely that I can do?

In Truth,the installtion is only exract some files into your warcraft3,
show error 1. your Antivirus software Intercept Unzip the file 10% Possibility。 2. 90%Possibility,what you download is bad file.
Happened bug: played naga against computer ice troll and Tidal baron did tp. Just stood invulnerable and did nothing. Mb some spell was used at the same time I pressed tp, trolls have it.
This Ice troll bug can't solve at all. and if you notced that: ice troll can show it's location on mini map at the begining of the game .
