Final version of the mod some errors, works and well don't play the 1348 timeline because many countries are not named. Yet it's historiccally correct
It keeps crashing, do I need something?
where does it crash . Remove England and Turkey from history country files
crashes at processing flag's
oh just re-enter the game. it's just once but the commie flags become stupid.
I'm having the same problem as Zvark3; game crashes when processing flags. Have tried closing/reloading game several times, crashes each time.
It works but the flags are all weird and switched. a screenshot example here Imgur.com
How is it you were able to get past the "Processing Flags" screen without the game crashing?
I had to uninstall the game delete the victoria 2 file then I did what he said might want to back up your saves if you do this
I actually just got done restarting my computer. Managed to get into game; flags are also attached to wrong countries. Still, progress is progress.
How do you re-enter the game? Do you mean wait for the game to crash, then just restart the game, because I tried it around 4 times, nothing. you probably mean reinstall the game, but the problem is I already did that. just wondering if you meant something else.
i've understood the problem, when i made the countries i forgot to add the flags for the countries in 1492. I will do that soon. I'll put the flags
Also, every time I try to load a scenario, game crashes. Not trying to be a pain by complaining so much, just want to make sure the finished product is as perfected as can be.
Kay i'll fix that soon. I just have to make some things in a new mod im working on.
Right...but you did kind of release this mod claiming it's the "final version", despite the game crashing immediately upon attempts to load it, along with several other issues. Kind of feels like this should be addressed.

i have the same problems. when do you wanna them or if it possible to fix them by my own?
it's possible to fix on your own. but i'll do it. about the flags you can try and add the flags for the new countries like Ming Aq Qoyunlu etc. the loading scenario problem i have to fix myself.
keeps crashing at different points while loading, says Runtime error....can't seem to fix.
actually now I get "File exception: exception in: virtualfilesystem.cpp, line: 662. Description: The system cannot find file specified."
Deleting map caches were not enough...
So for anyone curious, finally fixed both errors. I did two things after deleting the map caches:
1) went to SteamApps/Common/Victoria 2/mod/Ultimate/map and added a cache folder
2) started the game from the Victoria 2 folder in SteamApps rather than from Steam itself. One of these worked.
Anyone to fix the fact that every country has the wrong flag?
I will fix it soon ..
yay. Anyone know how to fix it so that it doesn't crash when you start a scenario though? The other Ultimate mods are all hopelessly broken, so I am excited to try this one :)
Okay so I found out how to fix the problem people were having with the game crashing at "processing flags" and a few other errors:
1) you have all of the .txt files that should be in the common folder duplicated in the mod folder.
2) under countries.txt you have "NOG" (Nogai) twice. Once under special coutnries and once under new european countries. Delete 1 of them if you want it to stop crashing on "processing flags"
3) You have a few flag files were need to be removed: look under REB, GRN ITA, GER, and GHA.
I'll keep trying to make it work and post suggestions.

Basically theres a lot of junk.
These changes don't seem enough to stop it from crashing when starting a new game at "Adapting History", but its a start.
KZA and KZN both seem to be used for Kazan. But I am guessing KZN is the mistake.
I can tell you for sure whatever is crashing the game as your try to start one, is in either in the history/countries, history/pops, or history/provinces folders but I just don't have time to go through everything.
Shame. I realllly want an Ultimate mod that plays :s
FIX THIS AND RE-UPLOAD!
I have another mod and I'm working on the other one.
Soooo, does anyone here have the ultimate mod? Because I only came for the extra ****, too bad its all glitched. Kinda sad though that this is the only way on moddb to get it.
i'll fix it in like very very late. I have school and i have other mods. And i have well other things.
If you dont mind me asking how did you get it to lower the conquest minimum amount?
in the casus belli in common there is a time part , if you want you can change it, but you have to find the conquest CB first
Hey i have problem, not crashing but when game startup and when apear starting screen i have no options to start game in 1492 or any other year except 1836. I really dont know what is the problem, is it maybe wrong version of game or something else, please help
i'll help later i really have a lot of things to do.
DRR has only communist flag. Also ENG TUR ZUR history files are missing and Rhodes (The Knights).txt must be deleted from country files as it already has Rhodes.txt also GRN_commmunist.tga rename to GRN_communist.tgh in GFX folder. Also you might want to check duplicated country names in country.txt file. All were listed by "Anichent". So now your game starts well and hungs up on loading history when trying to start a scenario game. Even if somehow someone would find one letter in one province that mr PipPirrup accidently tipped in and which f*cks up all the game - it still has all the population of 1836. There is just no point of looking at it as if it would have some historical details. Everything this man touched has mistakes. Some provinces has unclosed brackets and so on and so on..
PipPirrup you did a lot of work and it is all crap. Try to coup before you start anything next time. Good luck.
I looked all over the files and I don't see any mention to DRR except for in the flags folder. It's actually a copy of the DDR communist flag.
Anyway, I took all of Anichent's suggestions along with your suggestions. I also found some files that are copies of other files and I deleted them. However when I run it, it still crashes at "Processing Flags". Who in right conscience would just leave a bunch of garbage files (in this case copies) in a mod folder?
Man I hope this works.
Waiting for the fix....
