An important 2019 update of the largest bug fixing and game improving patch is a must-have for each Heroes 7 player! English localization already included.

Similarly to creature abilities, hero specilizations have been criticised a lot. Most of them provided more likely a starting bonus for heroes than a unique benefit. That is why they have been completely redesigned, also dozens of further changes have been implemented with the only aim: to improve your game experience.
List of new specializations and their effects:
HAVEN
- Amilcar -> perk bonus -> can deploy stacks in 4 rows
- Ella -> new -> each creature will be resurrected after its death with X% of original size
- Orna -> new -> bonus for angels
- Krysztoff -> new -> friendly creatures deal max damage when affected by light spell
- Seamus -> new -> fire ball master (bonus on cast)
- Willehelm -> new -> friendly shooters get purge effect
- Ivan -> new -> bonus for friendly creatures when enemy stack dies
- Thomas -> new -> no penalty for Feral Charge
- Ymoril -> change & perk bonus -> original spec (Architect) from Menan, bonus gold discount
- Edric -> change -> original spec (Justicar Captain) from Ymoril
ACADEMY
- Hisham -> new -> move cost bonus per level
- Yasir -> new -> starts with non-exchangeable artefacts
- Myrim -> new -> different magic bonus each day
- Johari -> perk bonus -> additional health for warfare
- Maahir -> new -> each spell increases Metamagic by +2 /instead of +1
- Aali -> perk bonus -> enlightenment value increased
- Masfar -> new -> no negative effects of Offensive & Defensive Formation for Sandstone Golems
- Ajit -> new -> resources on combat won
- Dagar -> new -> starts with Frenzy, lower mana cost for this spell & improved power
NECROPOLIS
- Naadir -> change -> original spec from Charna
- Adar Malik -> new -> firestorm at the beginning of combat
- Lucretia -> new -> weaker lifedrain for all creatures in hero's army
- Charna -> change -> original spec from Naadir
- Kaspar -> new -> adds spell to resurrect dead
- Saahir -> new -> starts with Dispel on 4x4 area
- Giovanni -> change -> original spec from Ludmilla
- Haffayad -> new -> necromancy boost
- Ludmilla -> change -> original spec from Lucretia
- Merikh -> new -> no luck for enemy creatures

1. Absurd walking AI units from adventure map enemy across battle map horizontaly insted walking straight to players units.
2. AI don’t use cover (from shooters) when it is beneficial to it.
3. In first Sylwan campaign, on heroic, enemy stack on map which defend path to enemy fort, called in mission objective as cyclops don’t multiply itself at all, what coses that it mission is trivial on heroic difficulty. Is option to change enemy fort to city and there enemy army can multiplay itself.
4. Personally this bug doesn’t matter to me, but I will report this, acording to request: all notifications on adventure map and on battle (specifically one: last chance to make player heroes turn) and signaturaes of heroes squad\color are in German.
I have one idea of smart modyfication: make ability to rotate around unit without walking (like in Heroes Online) 🙂
When I will have time to test it more I report more bugs 🙂

I wanted the original abilities of the bone/spectral dragon, however, following your guide on how to remove a specific change (deleting creature_name.upk) didn't work, and the bone/spectral dragons still have the changed abilities. plz help :)
also, this is a really great mod, so much improvements, wish the devs could spare u the effort :)
Hi, you can only revert brand new abilities or changes on creature abilities in this way.
The original ability was bugged; you would have to change it in the editor copying and replacing the ability from the original files.
I'm not satisfied with the current version of the ability, either, and it is likely to get changed if I get a good idea.

Any plans for further improvements/fixes? This is a tall order, but I wish someone could patch in new combat sound effects; I really hate how lackluster they are. The attack animations already look weak, e.g. Dryad's, couple that with the lack of punchy, even non-existent sound effects when attacks hit, and combat always look dull and unexciting.

Sound effects are a bit troublesome: it's possible to change the timing or use some of the existing sounds for a different purpose. I guess I'd need someone to do some bigger changes here as it needs a lot of testing and time.
However, it's not possible to upload new sounds, or I don't know anyone who could do it at least (there were some who tried but didn't succeed).
As for the current plans, there is still quite a long list of reported bugs, some of them are very annoying, I'll see what can be done (some of them are, sadly, behind my possibilities)

Hi there! Amazing work, thanks for the patch! It's really changing the game and making it playable. However, I noticed some minor bugs like bugged new heroes abilities (e.g. the one that should provide resources each day) and... AI which is still amazingly stupid. It's really impossible to lose against AI. They build heroes randomly, always wait instead of shooting, quick battles are garbage. Any management of gold and resources doesnt exist in AI strategy. Any ideas how to improve it?

Nobody is working on the Polish translation - if you do it, it will be great ;) There is a detailed guide how to do that, it's actually very simple.
I'd really appreciate adding factions from H6 as well but those who tried didn't succeed. There were problems with animations and townscreens, also no custom sounds can be imported.

So basically i have only the main game also with just the 1.8 version. The mod is working because i checked the creaturepedia and some abilities are different, so its ok. But when I load any map or the campaign the game will freeze after 5-10 sec and the game drop me out to the desktop and I dont know why?

I have a nasty bug in version 2.1.
Diving Attack of Imperial Gryphon (from Ivan's campaign) doesn't work for me.
In battle, the Diving Attack's icon is active, but if you click on it, nothing happens, and the Gryphon's turn just ends.
In version 1.1 this ability works perfectly.
Generally, this mod is very cool.

Good day! Are there any plans to add the Inferno faction in future patches?
Another mod is offered for Inferno.
On 4th map of Axeloth oneway portal to Guruth doesn't work. It says that must be repaired, but I don't see any tools to do that. In game without mods or in previous version of mod it works fine.
Local maps issues can't be changed at all. It's not caused my the mod but probably by a sequence of particular user actions within the map.

I am having issues running the mod. I have the main game with the v1.8 - 37786 update. I did not have Fortress as a faction in my game.
Units are updated in the Heropedia with new abilities.
Whenever I try to start a single player game or the campaign the game crashes and I am thrown at the Desktop.
I installed the mod by copying the 2 folders (CookedPC and Localization) to c:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\Might & Magic Heroes VII\MMH7Game\.
Any idea how to fix this issue ?

EDIT: It works at the beginning of a game, but it doesn´t mid-late game after i loaded the game. Weird.

The same problem with Legionaries, their protective aura can remain on allied units at a distance and even work after their death.
