Pre-Final version of the full release "They Hunger: Source"
Install Instruction
Ensure that you have Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer installed and configured to use
the latest beta, "upcoming".
If not set:
Right-click on Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer.
Go to the "Betas" tab.
Change "Select the beta you would opt into" option to "incoming"
Put theyhunger folder into sourcemods folder.
Put hl1 (from Half-Life: Source) folder into Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer.
(Optionally restart Steam).
Other Method
** This method will NOT make the mod appear in your Steam game library. **
- Extract the content of this (patch) archive to your "Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer" folder.
.i.e <Drive>:\Steam\steamapps\common\Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer\theyhunger
In the "theyhunger" folder, you should have several other folder
such as bin; cfg; maps...
- Restart Steam
- Right click on Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer.
- Select "Set Launch Options" in the "General" tab.
- Enter the following: -game "theyhunger"
- Click OK. (Optionally restart Steam).

The Source port is VERY good... however Half-Life: Source is not
Barney Zombies shoot their Beretta's like machine guns, the AI itself has 100% accuracy at all times, (Apparently their accuracy decreases to lower values when you're in WATER???)
Zombies don't flinch.
There's a LOT of problems with Half-Life Source. (Also videos about it.)
As much as I like this mod, I can't recommend it to anyone because of how utterly broken Half-Life: Source is. (I'm surprised that these issues are still actually present, and haven't been fixed by either VALVE or by some modder.)
You're better off playing the original.

The Beta for Source SDK 2013 (singleplayer or multiplayer) is called "upcoming", rather "incoming".
