A project by students of the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) in the Netherlands. The game is made with the Unreal Development Kit, 3DS Max and zBrush and took 27 members 8 weeks to build.
The release is a demoversion of what could be a complete game. Since the developmentcycle of 8 weeks it wasn't possible to make a complete game, but we did our best in creating this awesome demo.

Every half year a group of students of the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen makes a game. Created by students, made by students. This time the students made the game "The Awesome Astronauts vs Dinosaurs" and here's what the creators have to say.
Four months of planning for the launch of Apollo 11 in 1969, the NASA secretly sent a earlier flight to the moon, called: Spaceshuttle Eos 1. Before landing everything goes horribly wrong. The spaceshuttle hits an unknown object and eventually ends up crashing on the moon. Since the astronauts can't fix it yet, they go out to investigate. The astronauts, Austin, Airhart and Caldwell step out of the shuttle. They are first on the moon. At least, that's what they think...

Using their buggy they go on an exploration over the surface of the moon. You can drive around and after a while they discover:
AUSTIN It’s a goddamn spacestation!
HOUSTON We’re not following here, copy again!
AUSTIN I swear, it’s those damn Russians, goddamn Commies!
AIRHART Houston, a structure has been build here, it appears to be made by man, do you want us to go check it out?
HOUSTON Eh..yeah..why not..
The door of the base is operational but power seems down. Its your job to get it going and look for spare parts. You hear some weird voices and investigate. After a short time you hear what language it is. Luxembourgish!! You get to the control-room and after that, everything changes. “Wait, what? A Dinosaur? Of course there are Dinosaurs on the moon...” Luckily you can defeat it with the help of your Medic and Mechanic.

In The Awesome Astronauts versus Dinosaurs are many more things to discover. You can use the moonbuggy to explore the terrain and fight dinos. It's really good looking and fun to play. You got great music in the background and good cinematics to tell the humorous story.
The game is designed using the Unreal Development Kit and brings the story to life.

Awesome astronauts vs dinosaurs? I'd track it if there was actual screenshots, besides a straightforward title.

So far the game looks pretty good. But It keeps crashing at about 30 seconds into gameplay?
