Remember to backups first!
Extract the contents of the [MAIN] folder in your main game folder, overwriting existing files.
Afterwards, you can extract the contents from an [OPTIONAL] folder to have an alternate safe puzzile in the Port.
Now you can start a new game!
NOTE: If you don't want the company intros removed, don't copy the "avi" folder.

COMPATIBILITY & TROUBLESHOOTING
Tested on the English version of Gorky 17 on Steam and it should be compatible with the GoG version as well.
Should be fully compatible with any other mods that don't replace the .DAT files also present in this mod.
You must start a new game for most changes to take effect!
I highly recommend you use dgVoodoo to fix any issues the game might have running or properly rendering (I use Direct 3D, Stretched - Preserve Aspect Ratio, 4x Resolution, unticked Watermark. The rest of the settings are on default).
The game still has the Incubus boss bug (crash from bombs exploding while their shooter is no longer alive), so either skip this battle, or kill the 2 Incubus last, in the same round.
UPDATE NOTES
(1.5.1) Found a bug where a box wouldn't appear in a room in the Port - bad edit on my part.
Figured out how to edit Fist damage, and made it so low that it has a chance to deal 0 damage, no flanking bonus. Before, it would deal almost always 4-5 damage, because it apparently bypesses armor, which made the bayonet worse by comparison.
(1.5.2) Somehow the speed changes to Pain God and Cripple didn't end up in the last version - it's fixed now. Also fixed some typos and punctuation marks during and after the first fight on the museum roof. Clarified the description to the Time Bomb item as well, to reflect the number of turns it takes to detonate.
(1.6) Found a bug with the Incubus encounter while using my mod - the fight doesn't end when the last enemy is defeated. So I reverted the changes, but buffed the Incubus boss HP and damage to compensate. I also noticed that there is still a surplus of health items, so I further reduced the HP they all recover. Took this opportunity to beef up the fnal boss's move range, to make him more unpredictable.
