Morrowind in the 4th Era is far more interesting that we could have guessed thanks to the Dragonborn DLC and this mod aims to explore every bit of it. This mod explores some of those lore topics and deals with questions that arise as a result of the existing lore.
New Temple vs Old Temple.
As the New Temple takes over from the Tribunal, blaming Morrowinds misfortunes the Tribunal for worshipping Vivec and co as gods when they were merely human. The Tribunal point to the sermons of Vivec as proof this is all part of his plan and that the faithful are being tested.
Argonians and the Rise of House Redoran.
The Argonians were stopped from conquering the whole of Morrowind by House Redoran who have since become known as Morrowinds protectors. House Indoril have become the Priesthood of the new temple which House Redoran follows closely.
Things have changed since the 3rd Era and none more so than Solstheim. Solstheim is now part of Morrowind and under the control of House Redoran. Pirates, Reavers, Argonians and Ashspawn rise to challenge House Redorans control over the island.
The Telvanni & House Hlaalu
House Telvanni are not trusted by House Redoran and House Hlaalu has been cast out of the council for being too pro Empire and have lost their Great House Status.
Mean while a plague has broken out which both the new and old Temples seeks to Cure. Some believe the plague is linked to the Ash that falls from Red Mountain. Others say it is punishment of the gods for losing faith with Vivec. Some believe Necromancers are behind it, using the Ash to raise the ancient Dunmer dead from their Ash filled graves.
The Morag Tong
The Morag Tong cell based on Solstheim finds it self under threat from its old enemies the Dark Brotherhood. The murderous group spawned out of the sick imagination of their own Matron, known to the Dark Brotherhood as the Night Mother.
The Morag Tong have long served Mephala and the people of Morrowind, settling blood feuds and ending political problems before they get out of hand. But they have suffered, almost been wiped out and have come back wiser for it.
Now the Dark Brotherhood brings its murderous ways to Morrowind, it is up to the Morag Tong to drive them back in to the sea.
