Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What does this download contain?
This pack contains a folder with 256 different prefabs to make it easier and faster for you to create your own levels from scratch within the hammer editor, also known as worldcraft. Furthermore it also has a simplified fully working setup for an arena map for you to use to get a basic idea for what such a map requires to work correctly, should you ever want to create one of your own.
How can I begin using the prefabs from within hammer?
To use these for yourself, go into your Steam library, right click on the 'SiN Episodes SDK' and then properties. From there navigate to the 'local files' tab at the top of the window that pops up and afterwards click on the 'browse local files' button.
The windows file explorer should now open from which you should move into the 'bin' folder where within you should copy the prefabs folder to, which follows with this download as mentioned above. The prefabs can now be used next time you open or create a new level within hammer by the 'new objects' window by selecting the category 'prefabs' instead of 'primitives'. Make sure to always use the global_entities prefab in your level, as some prefabs might depend on it. The arena map can be opened from file->open in the top menubar of hammer.
Where can I release my maps for everyone to see?
Since this game is pretty old it does not have an implementation for the newer Steam feature being the Steam Workshop and therefore the only places to release your content are on third party websites:
Gamebanana: Gamebanana.com
ModDB: Moddb.com
