What is Warband Script Enhancer 2 (1.0.8.0)?
WSE2 is a standalone engine modification to Warband that adds dozens of new operations, enhances performance, and is overall a buttery smooth experience.
Why give out a preintegrated module system, but not WSE2 SDK?
I, an experienced modder, had a very hard time integrating WSE2 properly into an existing module system. But as soon as I got it working, I understood immediately that this is the future of Warband. Not including WSE2SDK is a choice I made because K700's download is always up-to-date to the latest version and I do not want to have to keep updating the download if compatibility isn't broken with this module system.
Also, why not the Native modsys?
I chose to release a Barebones version first because it is a simple integration and I have updated it at various points as I've grown as a modder. I have not done the same to a clean Native module system, and would need time to integrate my newer documentation as well as integrate WSE2. That being said, WSE2 need an experienced hand, and so does BB, so it seemed like a good fit.
