This units add-on mod is for the PC game Rome Total War by Creative Assembly and published by Activision in 2004. The aim of the mod is to add some additional units into the core game.

NICE. much needed units!
Sorry folks, please re-download if you've downloaded prior to February 18, 2017. I got some files mixed up in the February 17 update that will cause a CTD if you choose the Spartan Hoplite. Now fixed.
I updated the mod again today. Some shuffling with the Dacian Tribesmen. This will be the February 20, 2017 update. I don't plan on adding anymore units or make any changes unless I spot some error with the mod. This will most likely be the final update.

I don't have Barbarian Invasion or Alexander expansion. I only have the CD version of RTW...
one question does ai build those new units too?
Yes, AI will recruit those units like any other units.
The game crashes whenever I enter a battle with the custom units. Any advice on how to fix this? They are an excellent addition to Macedon (BEST FACTION!), whose infantry is seriously lacking and this mod fixes.
The campaign map is fine, but once I enter a battle the game just completely closes. No message or anything, just switches off.
is this mod steam compatibel
the alternate models for me makes the game crash can you help?
nice update. you should try making cleomenes II reforms for the greeks. like Spartan pikes. and regular pikes with the attic helmet. maybe a lower then regular perikoi unit. wish rome I had variants in their units so they aall didn't look the same in each unit xD but good game for its time. think its better then medieval II. medieval II is still bugged and has awful mechanics...

I see you are still updating this mod, so I am hoping to get something from this: You need to fix your installation instructions.

First of all I would like you to thank you for your work. The units are amazing.
I would love to see some more barbarian units. Spearmen for gauls for example.
Moreover could you check the new unit shield cavalry from spain?
All other units are working for me. But when I try to copy/paste this unit into the correct txt files the Game crashes when starting
To all:
There is a limit to the export_unit.txt and descr_modelbattle.txt files. So if you have the maximum units in these files and try to add one more the Game crashes when starting.
Maybe this helps to some. I didn't know it
