Rooftops Revisited is a modern warfare themed custom campaign level for Call of Duty World At War based on the COD4 Rooftops Series.
====== INFO ======
This mod is not a sequel nor a prequel to the Rooftops Series.
It is an extended redesign if the third level of the first Rooftops Campaign for World At War
for the purposes of exploring the concept of co-op in the game using a modern themed level.
The mod brings lots of modern warfare elements such as an entirely redesigned menu based on the MW3 menu layout.
Almost entirely using ingame assets like weapons, models, props and textures from the MW series.
The map is a redesign of the third level of the Fanmade Call of Duty 4 Rooftops Campaign.
The whole level is entirely consistent of action packed gameplay.
There is no actual story besides its ties with the Rooftops Campaigns where it's based on.
The one and only objective is get on and fight through the Rooftops and secure the LZ so you can escape.
The map is optimized for co-op and it can be played from 1 up to 4 players.
Each player will take the role of a different character in the level, however the roles are just visual.
There's no actual difference besides starting weapons on characters.
====== TIPS ======
The gameplay is straightforward.
You spawn and you fight to the end.
There are a few pickup weapons here and there that will surely make your job easier.
There are two easter eggs.
One visual and one with a reward.
They require plenty of searching and exploration.
There's a section near the middle parts of the map where parkour jumping is required to proceed.
Some testers had issues jumping across especially when high ping was present.
The advise to this is to pick the right side which is easier and time your jumps as best as you can.
====== BUGS ======
Given the hard to maintain script systems of WAW, it is likely that you might come across various bugs.
However throughout the testing that has taken place, nothing gamebreaking was found.
Minor visual bugs may or may not appear ingame, and minor menu bugs may also take place.
Entirely redesigning the menu and using tons of custom MW assets ingame can be unstable.
The developer and the testing team did our best to detect as many bugs as we can.
So far most of them were entirely eliminated, however it's always possible that some of them may have slipped through.
Hopefully nothing frustrating or game breaking.

Why is there no dismemberment?
Because it uses mw1-mw2-mw3 models which had no dismemberment in the first place.
Add the dismemberment otherwise it is almost useless to do this mod on COD WAW
There are no dismemberment models for MW1-MW2-MW3 models. I can't just add them. The mod isn't useless because WAW has co-op and cod4 doesn't.
Why not just put the COD4 soldier textures on the WAW soldier models? This would allow the dismemberment to be preserved.
That's not how it works
