theres is only a galactic conquest working for the eler sector "fragmented empire"
the erinda sector is not ready for space battles
you can play with all faction on space battle except erinda
Ai is not working yet on ground battle
there are some names missing
the balance is not yet done
auto resolve battles (probably not working)
textures are bad (im not to good)
there are some credit i will give them soon

I played nearly 2-3 hours, and as for me, it is a good mod, but need more textures and content(upgrades, heroes, satellites). 4/5

second you are right the content in the game is poor but, new space stacionary units are on the way ( platform, space docks , mining facilitys, space colonys researche facilitys space factorys).
new heroes will rise. more content is on the way
an third the texture in some models are trash most of the unit use the same textures but the in futures update some new textures will be introduced as i keep upgrating the models

Use Megabalta explosions and Laser projectiles, that you can see them in Jeroenimo mod. They are all free released. It can easily improve environment variety. I can help you from particles to textures, if you want.
