Realms in Exile 0.2 changelog:
General
- Updated to 7.3.1.
- Added Angmar as s subfaction for Misty Mountains(with previously unreleased models by Mathijs).
Dúnedain
- Now both Fountain Guards and the Knights of Annúminas are recruited from the barracks.
Arnor
- Overall balance tweaks.
- Fíriel's Royal Camp now can be spawned at level 1 with effects scaled accordingly.
- Fíriel's Royal Warrant only slows targets instead of stunning them. Also reduced how long the ability lasts and it requires at least level 3 to use.
- Elric's Blood Money ability now unlocks at level 3 instead of level 1.
- Changed Elrond's weapon to the same as Rivendell's Elrond.
- Bucca is now recruited from the fortress.
Gondor
- Added "new" spell for Gondor.
- Added the White Tree of Gondor as an upgrade for the fortress which unlocks a new ability.
Misty Mountains
- Added Azog as a subfaction for Misty Mountains which slightly changes their heroes roster(Azog and Bolg from the movies).
- Tweaked spellbook to better fit with Angmar's spellbook.
Erebor
- New spellbook for Thorin Okaenshield's subfaction.
Good evening, very nice new features and nice additions, I wanted to point out a small problem which may only be personal: When the white council is invoked via the spellbook in the oak shield faction, the game freezes completely. thank you for your consideration :) !
You should try again to see if always happen. But so far this is an isolated problem.

How can we install it if we don't have bfme and aotr installed in C drive?
There's a copy of the shortcut inside the mod folder after you install RiE. Make a copy of it to your desktop, right-click and go to properties. There, find -mod and it should be the folder where it searches the mod, you need to put the folder you installed it.

why it leads me to the main game not the mod ? did I miss something ?
Follow the instructions in the installer and it should work.
yes , got it , my mistake was creating an empty folder named " Realms in Exile " then I copy the Aotr content and paste it inside the the new folder , so in this way sure there were some missed files , so after installation the mod takes me to the vanilla game not to the mod . but when I copied the Aotr folder and then renamed it and installed the mod it worked perfectly . I wrote all this to explain well what happened so people doesn't repeat the same my mistake . thanks Brother for your kindly answer and sorry for the long reply .

Fantastic sub mod and the sub factions are great, this just seems like how aotr should be!
Have had a lot of freezes and crashes but smoother now that I have edited my options.ini again (had the firewall override line in, whoops, deleted and deleted GameSpy ID address). I also set CPU affinities, with a little gem all pc gamers should use called process lasso, to quad core with no threads.
Still having the problem of complete freeze when trying to load create a hero from main menu hope a fix can be found soon

i think the developer has enthusiast but dont know what modding is ,
simply giving a release and using exact original game with a little change cant be called modding

Hello. The game keeps freezing randomly after a few minutes of gameplay. Have you gotten other reports?
I also have been having the same issue. I reinstalled both ROTWK and AOTR, as well as RiE, and still games freeze up after a few minutes of play.
Also worthy of mention. I tried saving a game to see if I could come back to that progress I made, at least, but when the game eventually freezes not only does it crash so hard I have to log out of my account on my comp completely, but when I come back in to load the save it won't load it. It gives an error message and crashes the game.

I've done everything included in the installation but i get the following error :
ERROR: COuld not open include in Data/INI/Upragre.ini line 1, file DATA/INI/includes/oldupgrade.inc, parent file Data/INI/Upgrade.ini
I'm not new to modding and ive followed correctly the instructions,

Gotta precise that my aotr is locate in D instead of C, and my main game ROTWK is on C. Never had trouble playing aotr like this but maybe it causes something wrong with the submod ?

it is too complicating ...a very long time mod installation came to be more simple this one reminds me SEE MOD once upon a time with "targets and paths"
