This time I've thrown in 20 HD textures made by Hoover1979, to make up for adding none last time. The Nightmare Spectre from the PSX Doom TC has been added as well, but with a modification. Shotgun shells are now 3D and I've upscaled the Laser sprite.
Yup. We have a lot of HD textures now. 20 new ones made by Hoover1979 have been added, for a total of I don't know how many. But they look great.
I replaced dead Cacodemons (the pre-placed corpses, not the ones you kill) with the Nightmare Spectre from the Playstation Doom TC, but with my own twist. Now they exude darkness--it's like the opposite of a glow, and it makes them hella forbidding. The TC was made by fenderc01.
Ejected shotgun shells are now 3D models, taken from Psychophobia just like the ejected bullet models. Psychophobia is by 0xCobalt.
To upscale the Laser sprite, I found a hi-res version that was being used as a flamethrower in Doom 64: Unabsolved by AEnima.
Just as a rising tide lifts all boats, the look of everything featured in here has gradually improved as the resources are found or become available.
There is one final thing to mention: the latest version of Slade walked me through every duplicate in the PK3, so now there are none. It reduced the file size somewhat insignificantly, and probably hasn't improved performance terribly much, but I'm personally pleased that it's a little leaner.
