I, personally, thought this was a great first custom story.
I liked the story and the endings. It was a little short and there were quite a few notes to read. Nonetheless, it was excellent!
I really like what you did with the flashbacks. It was so simple but so nice.
The custom monster sounds actually scared me. When I was down in the *SPOILER?* cellar and that monster killed the grunt, and then you had to run from the weird "monster" like entity into a hole. That actually made me scared. And I was nervous for the rest of the story from that point on.
I've played so many stories that its now difficult to find a good custom story that isn't a full conversion or stories that I have already played.
Nice amount of detail too and the custom music was perfect!
For such a small custom story, I'll rate this 10/10!
