To install the mod you just need to put the file "Next_Generation_Warfare" in "C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods"
For the graphic overhaul put the content of the "for low config" or "for high config" in "C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2"
BE CAREFUL TO INSTALL THE ADAPTED OVERHAUL FOR YOUR CONFIGURATION

Wow, this is what I've been looking for!! I'm so going to make a video on this.
From playing it for 20 mins I can see there is a lot of work to make this better.
In the bottom middle of the screen, the UI doesn't need to be there (including the battle-log thing too) it's just pointless junk on the screen that serves no purpose but for cosmetics look. the ENB that you are using needs to be brighter in some darker areas. at one point I couldn't see my revolver it was that dark.
also, the J.J Abrams lens flares are very bright and for the main menu too (needs to be removed from the main menu). The surround sound of the gunfire is very broken. I kept on hearing shots when I was very far away from any fight. The Jumping animation is also a bit weird. maybe if you were to slow it down a bit it would look a bit more natural. maybe if you were to make custom player models for the game (then just taking them right from BF4) it would make the mod more of an original mod then a copy and paste feel mod.

Currently, I have a video up just the first few mins of me playing the mod. I'm now working on all the weapons (previewing them all) for youtube. but I have noticed whenever you shoot into the distance it starts to bug out. not too sure whats going on there but I hope it gets fixed!

Haven't quite gotten in to play this yet, as the graphics overhaul slows my game to an unplayable crawl despite being run on a GTX 960M. I was getting maybe 20 FPS at most. Will be back after I take the overhaul out.
EDIT: Even after removing the graphics overhaul I get abysmal framerates when in-game, even with only 16 bots. The game is still playable at least- if only barely. The mod looks like it has a lot of promise, but it desperately needs optimization. I really hope you can improve the performance, because the mod looks like it'll be great!
Well, you have to understand two things. 1. GTX 960m are not extremely powerful. 2. that you probs won't get any higher with that GPU. this mod is very GPU intensive so unless you have everything turned down to low (including resolution) you won't be getting super high fps from a GTX 960. but you may never know, he might get it to work for you in time!

Yeah, my graphics card isn't the best. I still expected a higher framerate for a BF2 mod, as it doesn't have any trouble running other ones. Oh well, I can always nuke the graphics settings to get it to run better if I need to lol
If you delete the enb it will give you higher frames but the game won't look as good :/
Use reshade to remove some effects
don't forget the ENB is very intense too
It's okay I don't see anything new goes if things I saw in other mod you should add weapons + vehicles = are well armed ...I must try the lan multiplayer (sorry my english i speak spanish)
Is there any way to use the unlockable weapon? If so, how?
I also want to ask about files like optics_common, optics_object, guerilla_faction, etc. What should I do with those files?
