Installer for the Alpha of Medieval Warfare v17072901

INSTALL: Its fully standalone, you can just download, install and play it. Does NOT need to be installed into an OpenRa directory, you can choose your own directory!

This is an Alpha version, so it can have issues and bugs in it, but we try to keep a weekly update up. please report issues and balance issues here, to our forum site or at our discord server /bugs-and-you channel.

For now it will be only available for Windows, but we planning to change that in the future.

Major Changes:


Removed Infested maps. Game needs to be balanced first and issues need to be fixed first

Changed Fixed a bug where game is crashing when Heavy Cavalry attacks the Ore refinery.


Gameplay Changes:


Removed Chickens removed from the game.

New Commandbar added.

New Archers now slow their targets when aiming at them.

Changed TownHall got split into 2 Buildings. 1 is available at Smith Tech, townhall still at Armory Tech.
They Provide a buff of 15%/35%. Together a halftime.

Changed PLayerCivilization trait not checks every tick for actors anymore, instead new spawned and removed actors register in the player trait. Which is reducing lags

Changed Autotargets got more polished. you can set priorities for building scaffolds with the two buttons at the bottom of your right ui.

Changed Smith, Armory and 4 Towers of the sultan take longer to build. So player wont techrush every game. More Strategy variety is provided.

Changed Cost of guardtowers has increased by 200. So player wont wall in every game. More Strategy variety is provided.

Changed Turnspeed and Damage of Raidingsquad increased, its more viable against air units now

Changed Counterweight trebuchet Price lowered.

Changed Knights, Footmen and Sultan Mubarizun HP increase, Footmen are now superior over Knights

Changed buildduration of most hightech units increased.

Changed Cost of most Hightech units increased.

Changed Massive HP increase of the Siege tower and battering ram.

Changed Wooden horse of the baron comes with 15 units now.

Changed Overworked various maps.

Changed heavy Cavalry availability moved back to castle tech. Also requires 2 peasants to be build instead of 1.

Changed Replaced sound for beacon with a fanfare (experimental)

Changed Barons small tents provide +1 livingspace and Large tens +2 livingspace
