Greetings! I've been a fan of MC2 for years and have dusted it off every so often to replay it. Your campaigns look incredible, and I look forward to trying them out, but I have a question. My sons are old enough now that they're enjoying Battletech and MechCommander as well. However, I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to bring the "unseen" mechs into the base Carver V campaign, similar to how you edit the savegame files to include the Cougar, for instance. Is there a simple patch that adds the 'mechs to the existing files, thus allowing them to be added? I ran across an old post on Dropship Command that had defunct links to files that seemed to have the mechs I was looking for, but I'll admit that I don't know where to start.
My apologies at being a noob to the modding of this wonderful, wonderful game.
Also, I'm deployed right now so it may take me a bit to answer; I'm working on this for my boys back home. Thanks in advance!
Just tried second mission it played and ended normally. Its simple and strait forward, nothing there to crush. Confirmed by two other testers. You have not installed bot carver campaigns at the same time? It wont work.
When installing all custom campaigns:
1. Install only one custom campaign at the time.
2. After you finish it, uninstall before installing another.
This game is fantastic! I've always loved the Mechcommander series and though it could use some more fleshing out. Great job!
I've noticed a couple of issues though.
1. If I complete a mission and go through purchasing things or repairing and then try to reload the "after mission X" save file so that I can do it over, it will not show any of the pilots that were available to purchase unless I reinstall.
2. mission_e_1_2 always crashes the game as I approach the bridge. The same thing happened on the last version (424) as well. I managed to get through it one time (in the 424 version), but it was only after trying a bunch of times and I honestly don't know what made it work that one time.
Yes, there was a bug that caused crushes with multiple explsions in the same time - fixed.

The only way to finish that mission is to move one of your mechs near 1st generator and another one near 2nd generator and leave them to stand there. Then move your remaining mechs over the bridge and capture that building you will get message "BRIDGE EXPLOSIVES DEACTIVATED". You can then move all your mechs across...

Nice new version, but your "Carver V - mode magic" campaign dosnt work, it crashes at the second mission

How do I make it rain in my map, created in the editor?
open mission_name.fit file and search for Weather...
