I like mods like this. I still wish there was something to show multiple custom mapset on the mainscreen or episode select, or even in the optionsmenu like this mod is doing. (I mean an easy to install way )

Great addition. However, what I meant was a selection screen of various mapsets. For example: the addon MOOD gives you a list of doom games to choose from Hell on Earth, No Rest For The Living, Sigil etc. ( I.imgur.com )
Would be cool if there was something that shows multiple wad's episodes. But probably hard to do. Not really important anyway. I use Doom Mod Loader, which makes everything very easy already.

Ok just tried it again. There is no difficulty select screen. Can you fix it?
the difficult option only appears when you create a new game
A new game, with just the usual map01? So there is no point really in this menu anymore. It was much more practical when it was still in the options menu, like in the first version you released. Or am I missing something? I don't see why someone would start a map of choice at the beginning of his game, but not caring about difficulty (which doesn't even default to the most used skill: Ultra Violence)
if you dont want any change in the new game menu dont use the EpisodesMenu.pk3 but you will lost custom maps support
and with this mod you really dont lose anything in the game I think you're using an old version, I updated and added an function to start a New Game like vanila DOOM, so now you can choose difficulty and episodes
What file and version do I need if I want to play doom2 map replacements? (map01,map02 etc, no episodes)

I already tried the new version. Either with both files or with one file disabled (also both mods, normal and compatible) There is no difficulty option anywhere. Also most features give unknown command errors. Only "Continue" (which shows load save menu) and "End Game" seems to work (and of course the map selection itself)
My gzdoom version is 4.4.2

I know a way to do it now :D, send the wad name and I will make an support for it
so instead of using console commands we use this
not only choose maps but skip maps, kill yourself XD and a lot of features
