Steam moved to 1,0006 last year as far as I know. I just checked my Steam version and it's 1,0006 in the UK.

I was just asking because the maps were so similar i didnt know build 1935 so closely resembled la maps and yours..
No Im lost alpha tester, it is entirely different content. LWO Definetly not using anything from lost alpha... try both games, only thing you may find similar is 1935 and other old build inspired/converted maps source of it is content relesed by GSC long time ago... nobody stole anythin =)

hey I'm having problems with the download as it crashes half way through, or if its paused and resumed it cancels but ends up in my Download folder anyway,and if I try to open the incomplete WinRar of LW:O it causes a break operation.
If I can have some advice or help it'd be appreciated because this mod looks good and I want to try it before I try other like Elite and Lurk.

My PC crashed big time and have had to buy a new one :P
I do clean install of SOC,apply 1005&1006 patch.
Copy LWO 1.5 and translate+fix.
Click new game and when loading give me error.
Any idea?

I'm running GOG's version of SoC patched to 1.0006 on a 8-gig RAM, 4-core CPU Windows 7 x64 system. Any help?
Never mind that, I went on and installed my original version from the CD, and the mod ran fine. Seems GOG's version's not too friendly to mods since that's the second time I've had problems with mods on it.
But now I have another problem: two-barreled shotguns' ability to shoot both barrels at once. It is a very nice mechanic but, since I play without the crosshair shown, I can barely tell where I'm aiming. Any chance of being able to remap the "shoot both barrels at once" button to anything else? Or, if not, to return it to default behaviour? (t.e. disabling the ability to shoot both barrels at once in favor of being able to aim)?

I would like to recommend Firefox addon called DownThemAll with it you wont be forced to download this big file in the single go, you can pause the download and return to it whenever you like.

I'm using Windows 8, 64bit with a Steam 1.0006 version of the game. Loaded mod and translation mod, changed fsgame.ltx game data root to true,true. I am getting a fatal error as soon as I hit Stalker to start the game.

Never mind, I think I had some old files from a mod still hanging around in there. I also think that I might have loaded the Bin file incorrectly. Dumped the whole game and going to start from scratch.
