- "Could not load library client." when launching the mod.
- In-game menu.
- Gameinfo.txt now has correct parameters.
- Sun material on both maps intro01 and outside01.
- Tower model too bright due to small 3D skybox fog values.
If you have any questions related to this patch, please let me know.
Criticism & suggestions are greatly appreciated.
At first I thought that I forgot to play this mod, even though I had it in my SourceMods folder since relize. Only during tull01.bsp I finally recognize it. I find it pretty strange for myself, I usally remember all finished mods.
I other news:
-tull01.bsp still crushes mod during loading surreal01.bsp. Or maybe it's surreal01.bsp fault. But I remember this error was back in 2012.
-A.I. Disabled in tull01.bsp.
@Fast_Train
To answer your questions:
1. A.I Disabled on map tull01
I was perfectly aware of this issue, although I believe it does not represent much trouble since no NPC can be found in this level, apart from crows which have no relation with level flow, therefore are not needed to progress correctly through the level.
A.I is re-enabled after level tull01, which makes enemies functional again.
2. Crash on level surreal01
There are no level surreal02.
I have re-downloaded Lost Under The Snow, along with my Source SDK 2013 patch and loaded level surreal01.
It works fine.
If you have experienced issues upon playing through this level,
I would appreciate if you could tell me more about the nature of the problem.
.i.e:
When did it happen during the level?
Where were you when the game unexpectedly shutdown?
I would be glad to help you solve this but it would be hard for me to try fix a bug that I cannot reproduce on my computer.
In addition to this, I recommend that you verify the integrity of your Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer files. This might be the cause of your crashes.
You can perform this check by doing the following:
- Right-click on Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer.
- Go to the "Local Files" tab.
- Click "Verify Integrity of Tool cache..."
- Wait until game cache inspection is completed.
If you have questions/requests please let me know.
Thank you for your interest.
I said nothing about surreal02.
It definetly not Source SDK Base problem as I reinstall Windows in 2013 and had this bug in 2012.
Mod crushes right after tull01, while trying to load surreal01. Of you don't have this problem at all, I probably should reinstall mod.
@Fast_Train
I apologize for stating surreal02. It was a mistake of my own,
as I read your message too fast.
Regarding tull01 and surreal01, I loaded tull01 and
proceeded to the section where transition to level
surreal01 occurs.
I have not encountered any crash/bugs. I played both
windowed and fullscreen with graphics set to maximum.
I suggest that you try to reinstall the mod and see if
the problem still persists.
Please let me know.
Once again, your patience is appreciated.
Thank you.
OK, no idea what happened, but bug just disappeared. But I found new one. In the shop, where you find second key, mod could crush. It happens only when player does certain moves. When I go straigh from the door and then turn left - mod crush. To prevent crush I go straigh from the door to wall, then go to counter while still looking at wall. When I'm at the right side of counter I can grab the key and leave the shop without bugs.
@Fast_train
I loaded map tull01, and played through the level.
I visited each room, and have not encountered any crashes.
I suggest you try to restart the level:
- Load the game
- Open up the console
- Type the following without quotes: "map tull01"
See if the problem persists. If so, perhaps a video could help me identify where you crash. You would require a screen recording software.
In this case, I recommend using Open Broadcaster. Record a video and either email it to me using the email address found on my profile, or post it on Youtube (unlisted) and send me the link.
Until I have further information, I am afraid I do not see what could cause such a problem, as no other user seem to have reported such events.
Thank you for your patience.
Yes, tull01.bsp crashes the game.
changelevel surreal01.bsp helps, thx
when I run it it crashes help me developer
@onegamex007
Make sure you are using the 'Upcoming' beta of the Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer.
- Right-click on Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer.
- Go to the "Betas" tab.
- Change "Select the beta you would opt into" option to "incoming"
- Restart Steam.
You should also verify the integrity of your game's files. This might be the cause of your crashes, as you have invalid/corrupt game files.
- Right-click on Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer.
- Go to the "Local Files" tab.
- Click "Verify Integrity of Tool cache..."
- Wait until game cache inspection is completed.

To everyone:
If you get pink/black checker textures on maps ldtd01 and tull01,
open up the console and type the following without quotes:
"mat_specular 0"
Thanks to @Dune_Jumper for reporting this issue.
Google Chrome now says this file is malicious.
Please file false positive report for this to Google.
