[IW4x] Bot Warfare v2.1.0 file

Great update, the bot chatter is really funny. I'm having an issue with Demolition mode where whenever the bomb is planted, the respawns break and the bots will respawn exactly where they died with no weapons or perks. If I disable killcams, they don't lose their equipment, but they still respawn exactly where they died. Is there any way to fix this?

Shooting thro alpha\transparency makes AI too good vs. highrise blinders.

Also it this version consumes\lags more CPU than 2.0.1.

Any chance of getting the "I'm not a bot" mental breakdown from RSE Bots? It'd be really cool little easter egg to add as a lot of the chat lines are ripped from that mod

Another cool thing to add would be the lines for kicking one of the bots, an example from RSE Bots would be "dude wtf i'm getting kicked" or "YES. GOOD. KICK ME. END THE PAIN. END MY SUFFERING."

Was able to make this work and everything is working well!!

Only one issue. It seems Bot Menu is tied the secondary inventory equipment button in the options menu.

Meaning, I can't use any C4's (It brings out the menu) and other equipment.

Is it possible to change the bot menu button to be different or is it always locked into the secondary equipment option?

it works perfect but the only issue i have is that after i completed the match and watch the final killcam, the countdown runs and it restarts the map, and i have to wait then until i can exit to the lobby. how can i fix this?

The bot chatter is easily the best feature the mod has ever had. They are funny and it really feels like each bot has a personality during the chat. I have seen the feature be a little bit broken, though, such as bots calling themselves hackers or complaining about 1 deathstreaks. However, one might say it adds to the experience.

One big issue, though, is that based on my tests, the game now freezes randomly every once in a while for a few seconds before coming back. It started immediately after updating to this new version.

EDIT: I turned on V-Sync and disabled Steam Overlay and it fixed every issue I had.

downloaded, copied over the mods folder with the z_svr_bots.iwd file

loaded a private session and the bot menu will not load, what am I missing?

Is there any way to disable bot chat?

also i like how they type in chat and camp and wave at me, it feels like they are almost real players

Downloaded AND copied the files to the root folder and loaded the mod in the game But I cant add bots , Pls i need a solution

I can't select private match (there's no option in the menu for it) and if I do create a matchy after the game loads it quits and I get the message: "script compile eroor unknown function map botweapon"

Is this ever getting a vanila version?

I had the same issue as someone else. Mod is in the right folder, fs_game command works fine, shows up in the mod list, but nothing actually works. No bots load, the mod menu key doesn't do anything. Am I missing a step or something?

Having a problem where for some reason, all bots are being 999 ping, anyway to fix this?

Iw4x got updated and when I try and go create a game with bots it keeps saying scripted compile error, it might have something to do with the update but that’s a guess. If anyone knows how to fix this please help!

Today iw4x had an update and when I tried to load up the game and create my own game with the bots, I kept getting script compile error every time I would try to load into a map. I think the update might have messed up the mod but that’s a guess, is there anyone can help fix the problem?

As the other two commenters have said, apparently the latest IW4x update broke the mod. I'll try reinstalling the entire game to see if it'll fix.

The XLabs Launcher has brought in more headaches than it has helped.

EDIT: Yep, reinstalled everything and the mod still doesn't work. Until a new update is released, it'll be unplayable. If you can avoid it, don't update your IW4x client.

This worked for me for:
"Script compile error unknown function htppget maps/mp/bots/_bot_http.gsc"

open z_svr_bots.iwd
then
maps\mp\bots\_bot.gsc
then delete or comment out the line(using//):

level thread maps\mp\bots\_bot_http::doVersionCheck();

If you use notepad++ it is about line 200

The mod is outdated, I got an updated version and it worked
