Deluxe Edition vs Classic Edition:
Deluxe Edition includes the vehicles from IDF: Fight for Independence mod, but Classic Edition doesn't and it has the original BF2 vehicles instead.
In the Deluxe Edition, Israel uses IDF vehicles and Palestine uses Arab countries' vehicles.
Instructions:
1. Download IDF: Fight for Independence mod from here:
Moddb.com
2. Copy all the IDF: Fight for Independence mod files to Battlefield2\mods
3. Open this map pack (IDF_vs_PLO_maps_for_IDF_mod_DX.zip)
4. Copy the map files to Battlefield2\mods\IDF_BETA\Levels
5. Run Battlefield 2 -> COMMUNITY -> CUSTOM GAMES
6. Select IDF_BETA and click ACTIVATE
Addons:
For the best gaming experience, it is recommended to download these addons for the game. (Not necessary)

Doesn't work - crashes. The main game cards work!
Have you installed the IDF: Fight for Independence mod for BF2? Unlike other map packs, it is created for an existing mod. Therefore, the installation might be a bit tricky. Follow the instructions in the "Read Me" file.
i did the exact thing from the readme file and just as how installing addon levels for mods, but this one does not work man it just crashes instantly when you start a match
Try this:
go to C:\Users\{user name}\Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles
Edit the ServerSettings.con files in defalut,001,002,003……
change sv.internet 1 to sv.internet 0
