Any operating system able to run SWAT 4: The Stetchkov Syndicate is supported, as long as it's English.
I changed the language settings of my computer and now the error message don`t appear anymore, but unfortunatelly, after I start the installer the program closes almost instantly.
You do have to remember this game was built on an XP system. The differences between XP and Windows 8 are insane.

Did you install .NET Framework 4.0?
it comes with windows but i'll try to reinstall it, thanks for the advise

I also have the installer crash immediately upon running. MS .Net framework 4 is installed. anyone solve this problem yet?
This is really great. I followed your instructions back in 2013 on Youtube and got the speech working,but this exe crashes immediately upon running. Is there a way to fix it ?
The installer doesnt work, it just crashes without doin' anything... please help!!
I downloaded this mod and tried installing it, but it always seems to close instantly after I opened it. I think I might have the same problem as Guest Jan 2 2014.

I do believe that I have .Net Framework 4, so I'm not sure what else to do.

Yeah i think my microphone is just too shoddy i did the learning setup like twice and after all was done in game they just couldn't understand me except at one point i gave up and said "i guess you guys don't understand me" and they proceeded to deploy a smoke grenade so.. Yeah ill give it another shot once i find a better mic.
how can I change the optiwand speed back to normal. I love this mod but this is taking me out of the game when the AI move super fast.
A problem preventing the installer from running on 32-bit operating systems has been located and fixed.
If the installer crashes or otherwise doesn't start on your computer, re-download the mod and re-try.

Is there any way i can make this work with SAS mod. Maybe move some files around or something? These two mods together would make the game alot more immersive.

It says: The installer could not locate SWAT 4 on this computer... I already had the latest version of .net, Please help! How could I fix this problem?! Please!

I want to use the speech recognition systems with other mods. Is there perhaps a way to extract the actual game files and just copy the speech recognition systems and implement them into the folders of the modded versions? I am doubting that this is easy because when replacing the the SSF files, I lose some of the SSF settings options. I am really interested in this mod as it is quite advanced, but I don't really enjoy the default game. I'd appreciate any help

If this mod cannot find your game, you should put the game in the steam folder. "C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common". Next, you can put the game folder back.
Если данный мод не может найти вашу игру, то вам следует поместить игру в папку, где находяться игры стима("C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common"). Далее, можете вернуть папку с игрой обратно.
