NICE KEEP IT UP! isnt there a new remaster steam version ofr stronghold 2? are you ghoona update it to it? or maybe its not out yet..

I know there is a steam version of SH2, but I'm unaware of any recent remastered version. In the past, I was working on a smaller secondary mod for SH2 that I might release in the future. But that mod would just be pure cosmetic changes. Nothing like what Imperium Condita was meant to be.

Romans in Stronghold 2

Ghost Phoenix: Find your great MEGAMOD last month and see how impressive the work done over time is, bringing the Romans in Stronghold 2. Thank you for bringing your great work to everyone.

3 questions:
1-For which version is designed to work the MOD? The last one is v1.4

2-Where did we find the exe to play? ImperiumCondita.exe inside the zip I do not see it.
Regarding Install Instructions.txt (Use the shortcut already in your new Imperium Condita folder to launch the mod).

3-Will you continue working on the MOD to see new versions in a future or is it here to finish your great work?

The version this mod was built on is v1.4.1
You should be able to download and install this version from this link. (http://stronghold2.heavengames.com/downloads/showfile.php?fileid=1214)

When you copy the files to create a second Stronghold 2 folder, you need to copy the stronghold 2.exe as well. This should launch the mod from the new folder.

Unfortunately, I will probably have to leave the mod as it is. I simply don't have the time, nor the motivation to continue a project his big. I might release another smaller mod I was also working on in the future, but that would be more of a cosmetic change to the vanilla game.

So even though I know that this will not be updated anymore I will warn anyone considering three issues or fails this modification causes.

First, mills aswell as torture guilds will not be entered by their assigned workers anymore causing a major economical problem.

Second, uhm the pictish boat warriors were turned into viking longboats. You get the picture.

Third and my major conflict with this mod is that the barracks was switched into one of these shl mini castles whose top you only can use if you place units beforehand. So basically the whole stairs feature of the barracks is gone. But, it gives you more space as you somehow figured out how this works.

But the gracious I am, I'd like to offer you help.

I am obliged to fix some stuff for you. If there was something in terms of changing models you would have wanted to see maybe I am able to do this.

Yeah, I know. There were A LOT of things I hadn't finished. Lots of experimental stuff that I couldn't quite get to work. (the boat warriors for example) The mod is far from finished.

That being said if you were interested in making your own patch, I'd throw it up here for everyone to download. Really, the mod is for everyone to do with what they please. Pick it apart, reuse some textures, change some things. Make it your own.

Ghost_Phoenix: I wanted to ask you a favor.

1-You can modify these files to ELIMINATE THE GREEN AND RED CONE OF THE CURSOR:
Curs_arrow.GR2
Curs_arrow_red.GR2
Move_cursor.GR2

  2- Which programs are used to edit and export/import the .GR2 because there is no way to find the software to modify that extension, I've been looking for it for a long time.

Thanks for all the mod this very well, although the trirene can not be disembarke, for me trirene "viking" the best of mod.

Unfortunately, I'm going through a computer transition right now. So, even if I wanted to, I can't do anything to the mod at the moment. But if it really bothers you, you could always replace the cursors with another .gr2 file. Just make sure you have the file's texture in the same folder.

As for editing .gr2 files, I have never changed a granny file. The software needed to do so is far to expensive for individuals. I made the mod through replacing models and editing the textures. Every .gr2 file in the mod is from either the native game, or Stronghold Legends. You can use GrannyViewer to look at the models, but not change them.
