Description

This new version introduces 3 single player campaings from original Dawn of War and Winter Assault as well as many fixes to AI, balance and models. NOTE: this is a standalone release, fixes for beta1 are not required to run this version. Installation: 1. Go to your Soulstorm directory and remove Galaxy_in_Fire_Reloaded folder if it is present. 2. Run installer and follow its instructions 3. Select Galaxy in Fire Reloaded in the game manager.

Hi ! This new Beta is really great and the campaign of the first dawn of war is amazing ! (I love the dawn of war II skin for Gabriel Angelos, cool addition :)

And the reavers are pink boxes. =(

I haven't the Data folder of this new version so I can't really figure out what's wrong with them.

Any help ? =S

Yeah, this bug has already been reported, but thank you anyway. Here is a MiniFix that solves this problem. Unpack it into GiFR folder Drive.google.com

Thank you for your quick answer and fix =) It's the second time that I report something already reported, do you have a special forum for bugs ? Since last time, I notice some size error with eldars vehicules and color missing for Wraithlord in campaign, also a critical error in the mission where you have to hold the four relics, the error hapened when I captured the first relic =X

There is a large russian forum called warforge, thats where a lot of such bugs are reported. Also some people report directly to me via PM, Skype, etc.
As for the actual bugs, the teamcolor issue in campaign is known for a lot of units (SM terminators, for example), but I'm yet to figure out how to solve it properly.
It would be nice if you could provide logs about critical error in the mission 9, If I'm not mistaken. To do so, launch Soulstorm with "-dev" parameter (without quotes). If you are using steam version, right click at soulstorm in your game library, choose properties, then Set Launch Options and add the parameter where. If you are using version 1.2, create a new shortcut (or edit existing one) to soulstorm, open its properties and add "-dev" to the "Target" field.
After this actions launch the mod and reproduce the error. The logs will be created under Soulstorm\Logfiles\

Hi, I'm getting pink boxes for Macharius tank. Is it just me or is this known?

Also, I'm playing on a 16:10 monitor and I installed the 19:9 taskbar but it looks squished. Can I switch to the 4:3 taskbar without reinstalling?

Yes, the Macharius was removed from game, just forgot to remove it from army painter. Let's pretend that its not there .
To change the taskbar go to Soulstorm\Galaxy_in_Fire_Reloaded\Misc\Taskbar and extract Taskbar.sga from one of the archives to mod's root folder (Soulstorm\Galaxy_in_Fire_Reloaded).
GiF(legion_based)taskbar.zip is a 4:3 taskbar, GiFR(vanilla_based)taskbar.zip is 16:9 and FoK(PoK_modified)taskbar.zip is FoK taskbars.

Its pretty strange however that sometimes dmg isnt visible on the hp bar. like for example in the campaign my sm squads shot at a building and its hp didnt drop for at least 2 min.Another thing i noticed is that on standard resource gain the req rate for troops are 2 high but i ended up with a ton of energy so i suggest increasing the energy cost of troops as well or decreasing the req necessary for few troops however i really like this mod and i think its the best out there . so pls dont give up on development. If youd like to i can provide ideas for balancing however .

Thats because regular anti-infantry weapons do no damage against vehicles and buildings. You need to get some special weapons for that. Yes, the prices are high, thats the whole point. You will need to carefully micro you army to keep it alive. Loosing even a single squad can be fatal. The energy is mainly needed for vehicles, but some troops (like Terminators) are also require a lot of power. If you want to suggest something, try playing imperial guard and tell me what it lacks, especially at tier1.

Это нужно будет копировать файлы из оригинального русского дова. Файлы озвучки из кампашки лежат в Data\sound\speech\nis. Их предварительно нужно будет распаковать из SGA архива и скопировать в папку Data мода.

Скопируй еще файлы _default.rat во всех директориях после Data(т.е. sound, sppech, nis). Должно помочь
