Thanks a lot! Trent is from Leeds, Bretonia - so better if words kind of "canceled" keep "cancelled" in his diary at least, right?

I actually thought about keeping some strings the way they are because of differences in the English language across all real-life places in the world that are represented in Freelancer. However, the game itself doesn't seem to be very consistent in distinguishing dialects and ways of writing between NPCs. For instance, if you go to any bar in Rheinland space and talk to the NPCs there, you can tell right away that none of them have a German accent whatsoever, nor do they make common non-native grammar mistakes in their written rumors.

As for Trent, although he is originally from Bretonia, you can clearly tell by his way of speaking that he has an American accent. Therefore, I also made sure his diaries use consistent American English.

EDIT:
I just checked the edits I've made to Trent's personal entries, and it turns out that nothing really major was changed regarding the consistent use of American English, since British English wasn't even used in the first place!

How about to correct subtitles made by Spanish-speaker Lazaro?

Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately, I'm not interested in doing that at this time.

Also, a full transcript from all the characters' lines can be found in the Freelancer Bonus DVD. So it might be a much better idea to just compare them from there.
