This is the Mod CORE file, Extract it and place the folder into (Your install directory)/ Battlefield 2/ mods
Firebird 2.4 removes over 2gb of "dead weight" and has a lot of stability fixes. Many vehicles have been modified and improved as well as several new vehicles. Firebird 2.4 includes a new scoring system that counts headshots, body shots etc like AIX2 Mod. The deviation on the mec/ch/ru weapons has been improved to better handling while not making the game unbalanced. The AI has been tweaked slightly so the bots will use and stay in the vehicles better and I am working hard to make that better.

Since we already has bf3/bf4 weapons and vehicles in game.

The best thing I can recommend is to redownload the core file and try to extract it again, I asked around because I have never seen this error and nobody else has had the problem either

I've noticed that bots didn't use unlocked weapons. How to make those bots use unlocked weapons?

I don't think there is a way to make the bots use the unlocked weapons, Firebird 2.5 is under development. I change tons of things and my discord is where I keep people up to date on what I'm working on
I think i might be doing something wrong i follow the instructions and when i boot up the game than go to map selection it crashes

Medic soldier is female, can you please fix that?
Do you have either AK 47 or AKM 74 With Reflex or Eotech in game?
I don't have ak's with reflex or EoTech sights, sorry. On many maps I Replaced the female soldier with one from another Russian team like Spetsnaz. Feel free to join me on discord, the link is in the mod's description. I can share stuff easier and a lot of times I release real time fixes and tweaks
Um, where is the .exe file?
I need some clarification, what .exe file? You install this mod by extracting both levels and core .RAR files and putting them in their respective folders which can be found by reading the description on the download pages. To launch firebird, go to the community tab and click custom games and select firebird.
