Ever wonder why the powers of the gods can only be used once? Or why use a power if it's so dull?
I took some vacation at my grandmother's house and with some free time on an old pc, I ended up playing the classic AOM TT. I created this mod in order to provide a more dynamic and dangerous game, where a divine power can provide historic twists and matches that take your breath away, making you tiptoe in your chair while playing!
Have you ever thought how terrible the wrath of a god can be? And why not make it just as menacing for this amazing game?
All divine powers have been increased their destructive power by at least 10x. Except for some powers like 'cease fire' or 'carnivorous plant' (which I could mess with the Protox file, in the second case. But I preferred to leave it anyway). All powers have been raised to a level that will make anyone tremble as much as a titan's awakening.
Earthquakes will have a seismic shake over a gigantic area (be careful not to launch near you), also with meteor shower, implosion, forest fire, among other area destruction powers. I played games where the computer destroyed half the map with a divine power (but that will depend on the map you are playing).
If you found the long winter's fimbul too silly or even boring, wait to play in this version. The Norse will summon a veritable army of wolves all over the map, capable of destroying an entire city in moments, and the same goes for other powers such as the Egyptians' 'raising from the dead', 'serpents', among others. The 'bronze' power has never been as fun as this one, as you can now make your own buildings and your ally's buildings with bronze. 'Tartarus', 'Heroize' and others also had their powers extended and I tried to add some extra effects.
Regarding the bugs, only with the Atlanteans regarding the powers of tartar (since it seemed to be totally inspired and start summoning a bunch of tartars in every enemy I found around the map. I even lost a game for him summoning a tartar in the city itself and end up destroying it completely in less than 10 minutes) and regarding gaia's reforestation power, since gaia seems to like this power a lot, I had to reduce its effects a little so that it wouldn't get blocked in your own city.
Any bugs, please comment! I will try to fix it as soon as possible.
Have a good game!
This modification only works on AOM TT, and AOM. Not for Extended Edition!
