This is the first official release of Evobot, with support for regular and combat modes. This version also has full support for marines (including commander) and aliens.
See the readme within the zip file for full instructions on how to install, configure and play.
KNOWN ISSUES:
- There is a regular crash with NS 3.3 up to and including beta4 with an error message "SOLID_BSP without MOVETYPE_PUSH". This is due to the bug with the way dead marines spill their inventory in NS 3.3 and will be fixed in the next update. For now, it's recommended you use Evobot with NS 3.2.2 until beta 5 of 3.3 is released.
- Bullet spread for all bots (including RCBot) in 3.2 and 3.3 up to beta 4 is broken. This is a fundamental issue in the NS game module with how bullet spread is calculated for fake clients, and will be fixed in 3.3 beta 5. For now, just hang in there and know that a fix is on the way.

I change my metamod.dll, evobot plugins works but crash after few seconds
Make sure in evobot.cfg you have the nsversion set correctly (32 for 3.2, 33 for 3.3). If the bot crashes right at match start after the countdown then that is usually the reason.
I may try recompiling the dll, as there seems to be some unreliability in metamod being able to load it. I'm back home on Tuesday 22nd so i will try reuploading then after more testing.
I did indicate version 32 in the config file but I still have the crash :(
Ok, is it a straight crash to desktop with no error message, or does it give you an error message of some kind? I'll look into it shortly. I assume the game doesn't crash if you don't add any bots? Also, are you running 3.2.2 or the original 3.2?
Original 3.2
it finally works but I have crashes from time to time, for the next version can you provide your file metamod.dll stp if possible? is it possible to add compatibility with version 2.0? thank you for your great work
The original 3.2 does have some stability issues due to how old it is and the number of Steam pipeline updates that have happened in that time, so that might be the cause of the crashes.
See if you can update to 3.2.2: it maintains the same feel as 3.2 but fixes some of the incompatibilities of 3.2 on modern systems.
I don't play on a steam version :-/
