"Escape from the Afterlife Paths 1.55" Adds Prime Bosses to the deepest Afterlife Paths. An overhaul to the itemization, adding new affixes and new mechanics, 80+ new runewords, new droppable runeword recipes, A new type of item called Trophies-Blood Organs, that can be inserted to items, allowing to enhanced your gear or build your own unique items. Liquid Shrines and many-many more changes! (1.55 full version, now includes the 1.55 fixes)

Additions and Changes of EftA - Paths 1.55
NEW FEATURES
- Prime Bosses:
Inside the multi dungeons side areas, Prime Bosses are added in NM/HELL. In HELL. The last boss, if you reach so deep and kill him, will drop the Book of Cain. Book of Cain will grand you 2 skill points
- Trophies-Blooded Organs:
A new type of item called Trophies, can drop from monsters in all difficulties. Trophies are monsters organs and they drop after you slain them. These Blooded Organs can have one attribute on them and can be inserted to sockets. Their attributes range covers almost everything and their variations can offer countless choices. You can now actually make your own uniques by using them in multi-socketed gear
- Liquid Shrines:
A new type of item called Liquid Shrines, can drop from monsters in all difficulties starting from Normal-ACT5. Liquid Shrines are consumable timed buffs or debuffs, drink them at your own risk
- Hellgates:
Hellgates are dropping from monsters and if you right click them... well im not gonna spoil it, their name is self explainatory. Just right click them...
- Zodiac Items:
Zodiac items are special unique end-game items that as you collect them, they give bonuses to each other
- Ability to Respec Skills & Stats in a manual way (read the EFTA_How to respec.txt in EftA's folder)
- New recipes:
New recipes are added, all dropable for you to collect. Same thing stands for runewords
- Respec Skill points:
You can now fully respec you builds safely. just follow the instructions in EFTA_How to Respec.txt, located in MODS\EftA - Paths v1.55 folder
Itemization and Balancing: Magic/Rare Items
Erebus Seals:
- Carry Weight -X value is now completly random between -1 -20. Its up to the RNG
- Many of the lower affixes values have been excluded. Many of the highest are buffed
- Can now roll Class Skills. Auras on equip and new affixes
Shields:
- Can now roll with Block Chance, Faster Block Rate and Health or Mana Regen all at once. At higher levels they can roll with Faster Block Rate, Thorns and a bonus to Armor (% or flat) all at once after lvl 40.
- Can now roll Energy
- Can now roll Enhanced Damage 41-55% after lvl 66
Rings/Amulets/Jewels:
- Magic find and Gold find can now roll exclusively on them, with minus to light radius (Sets and Runewords will not be affected by this change)
- All Resists can now roll in Amulets too
Belts/Torsos:
- Can hold the highest amount of health and Mana. Health/Mana will go together.
- The higher Armor values can now roll in Torsos
Belts/Torsos/Boots
- Will have exclusively the Carry Weight+ (values are adjusted accordingly for them and for Sets)
Charms:
- Carry Weight -X value is now completly random between -1 -20. Its up to the RNG
- They can now roll Attack Speed and Faster Cast Rate
- Unique Charms will have a fixed Carry Weight of -15, they are also got worthly buffed
- Annihilus & Persephone now can drop in lvl 97+
Weapons:
- Can now roll all the top values of damage which previously could roll only in jewelery
- Can now roll the top values of Attack Rating
Affixes:
- Reanimators: Items that has a chance to reanimate a monster. Equiping the item grants you some of his powers.
- Knocback affix is now always rolling with a Thorns bonus
- Inndestructable affix is now always rolling with a Strength bonus
- Per level attributes are all roll only on Magic Items
- Special, Class-specific affixes can now roll in Weapons, Armor and Erebus Seals. With class skills and usefull affixes:
=Viking with Random Class Skills 1 to 3 + life regen or vitality or absorb lightning
=Magi with Random Class Skills 1 to 2 + Life or Mana or an Element Pierce (Fire/Cold/Lightning)
=Summoner with Random Class Skills 1 to 3 + Mana or Damage goes to Mana, or Mana Regen
=Hero with Random Class Skills 1 to 3 + All Resist or Max Fire Resist or Thorns
=Witch with Random Class Skills 1 to 3 + Poison Resist Length or Mana Regen or Healing killing Demons
=Heroine with Random Class Skills 1 to 3 + Lifesteal or absorb fire or thorns
=Huntress with Random Class Skills 1 to 3 + Energy or Magic Find or bonus to All Attributes
- All Elemental Pierces (Fire/Cold/Lightning) can roll individually in Weapons/Armors/Erebus Seals after lvl 60
- All Elemental Thorns (Fire/Cold/Lightning) with all Elemental Pierces (Fire/Cold/Lightning) can roll individually in Two handed Magic Weapons (including Bows/Crossbows). Fire Thorns will roll with Fire pierce etc, after lvl 60
- Mana Regen can now roll to Armors and Erebus Seals after lvl 60
- Auras on equip can roll up to 12 lvl skill, after lvl 50
- Light Radius+. Stamina and Durability removed
- Skills: Vanilla skills and new Skills that previously found only in uniques, can now roll to Magic items (65+ level) between 20-25 skill level. The skills are: cloak of shadows, conversion, charge, energy shield, fireball,skeleton mastery, raise skeleton, raise skeletal mage, bone prison, revive, cleansing, conviction, resist lightning,redemption, holy shock, leap, raven, iron golem, inner sight, guided arrow, lightning fury, dim vision, blaze, teeth, impale, plague javelin, nova, modified frozen orb, time stop, slow, prime sphere (meph cold ball), summon naga magi, summon naga magus, summon polong, fear aura, plague (like a distance cast rabies), summon treant, joy of magic (magic find aura), summon balrog, summon spider, revive, Spirit of Guilt (this is an exception, its a Summoner skill that can, from now on, roll to class items as 10lvl skill). All this skills can benefit from +all skills items.
MISC
- 80+ new runewords were added
- Three new versions of mobs are added in the Paths, they are deadly
- Increased the variation and mobs density in 80% of the ACT5 maps.
- Increased the variation and mobs density in many Afterlife's Paths (multi-dungeon)
- Vanilla's Sand Leapers mobs are back
- Mobs in Black Marsh and Hole Cave got tougher in Normal
- ACT1 to ACT4 and the Dungeon maps got varius of objects
- New Town Portal graphic by @tmuhlhausen
- ACT1 to ACT5/Paths, full of new objects in the environment to break
BUG FIXES
- Fixed several bugs in Summoner's, Magi's and Huntress's skill trees
- Fixed inventory crash when you hover in the bottom right corner
- Fixed a wrong entry in the unique item Puppeteer
- Several corrections/adjustments to the enemies inside the Paths (the multi-dungeon)
- Added Carry Weight to some uniques missing it in 1.54
- Fixed wrong descriptions of +to skills in some uniques
- Changed the two Magi's minions that caused crashes
- Fixed Mana Regen and Attack Speed not displaying correctly in Character page
(Wrath of Flame's skill dmg displaying it next to Magic Find, still remains)
- Fixed the Recipes not dropping
INSTALLATION:
1. Extract EftA - Paths 1.55.rar to your desktop
2. Run EftA - Paths 1.55.exe, press the ... button and select the Diablo II\MODS folder
3. Press OK and then Extract
4. Run D2SE and Run EftA - Paths 1.55
P.S: Place you save folder from 1.54 to 1.55 MODS\EftA - Paths v1.55 folder to continue with your old char, if you carry in your inventory or stash the Token of Absolution pls remove it before starting with 1.55)
PS1: Dont change Glide Settings and mod should be played in 1280x768

Hey there, i have 1.14 patch, how can i play? i dont have CD anymore but i have licence
You must install 1.13c at least, for D2SE and the vast majority of mods to work.
hey all I've been out of the game a LONG time...been trying to get my install of D2 and D2se to work, but I'm getting tons of errors. I was able to run vanilla d2 from d2se but it crashes when I try to check my inventory.
I was also able to open this particular mod, but it immediately crashes once I press any button after creating a character.
Does anyone know of a link to a working step-by-step on how to install straight from the beginning? Also, I've been using 1.13C directplay version of the original game maybe this is causing issues?
*ed. I'm aware this doesn't give a lot of details of the problems themselves, but there are so many that pop up that its just a clusterf right from the get-go. I run Windows 10 on a 4k screen, D2SE says the install is fine (green CD), and I have tried running in xp compatibility 2 and 3 with admin
