DukePlus is a game-enhancer and customizer for the EDuke32 port of Duke Nukem 3D. Written by Dan Gaskill (a.k.a. “DeeperThought”), the DukePlus mod provides optional enhancements to the original game as well as giving level-designers a vast selection of new options and effects to utilize in their maps.

If you want to play DukePlus with custom mods. You can do this through 2 ways:

1) Copy pasting all the DukePlus subdirectories into a mod's folder (including the 2 .cfg files) while running that mod's custom game directory.

2) You can use dukeplus.bat to run eduke32 instead, edit it to force it to load whatever mod directory you want, though make sure to have the 2 mod directories listed next to each other like:

@echo off

echo by DeeperThought

EDuke32.exe -game_dir 2000 -game_dir DukePlus

Replacing 2000 with whatever mod folder you want to use. Make sure to select 'none' as the custom game content directory otherwise it will ignore the paths in the .bat, Enjoy.

In unmodded duke nukem how do i change attack speed of weapon?

I have a bug now whenever I start a new game. My devastator seems to be limited to 50 rounds. No matter what, I can't get more than 50 rounds, even though default ammo for it is 99. It started when I loaded up "Shrapnel City". Now, whenever I start a new game, it doesn't go above 50 rounds. Is there a way to "reinstall" the game to remove that bug?

Just released an update today for the first time in years. It fixes various breakages that have happened due to changes in the Eduke32 port that Duke Plus runs on.

It is a maintenance only release, though. My current projects Alien Armageddon and now the revival of WGR2 that we are working on take all of my modding time, so don't expect any more updates to DP for a long time.

Any future for the N64 version of duke nukem based weapons?
like the Dual MP5, the M32, the SPAS 12, the plasma cannon and the missile launcher?

Good work! I think some fatalities should be added, just like Brutal Doom. (Kicking a dying trooper's head is not fun at all.) Also add a 'punch' option (Damn, Duke has unlimited stamina in his legs? Now I totally understand why Area 51 calls him Super Human.)
