The intro map to Doom 2016, made for Doom II. In time, more maps will be made and released.
Tested to work with GZDoom, ZDoom, and Zandronum, but works best with GZDoom. Other Source Ports may be fine though. This map has been tested and works with Brutal Doom, Project Brutality, Zion, and D4D (Doom 4 for Doom).
Important note: this will ONLY work with Doom II, and will not run with Ultimate Doom.
How to install:
Method 1: drag the Doom2016DMK.wad into your Source Port. When prompted, select "Doom II: Hell on Earth," then say "ok." You may load this with other mods, but only one map may be used at a time.
Method 2 (recommended for Steam users): open your Doom II directory. If you use Steam, go to your C: drive (or whatever drive you use), then Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Doom II, then open the folder called "base." Find the .cfg (or configuration file) named after your Source Port, then the name you use to log-in to your computer (for example: gzdoom-DoomGuy). Scroll down until you find this:
"# WAD files to always load. These are loaded after the IWAD but before
# any files added with -file. Place each file on its own line, preceded
# by Path=
[Global.Autoload]"
Underneath [Global.Autoload] insert the path to where the wad is located in this format:
path=C:\DoomIIWads\Doom2016DMK.wad
Nice work dude. I found this and run well in doom-touch and with the vanilla doom 4 by AlphaEnt2, it's awesome
