FORBIDDEN WORLDS DLC is Required for DOTR 0.7 Divisions
Install instructions
Extract the DOTR folder into your Mods-Rebellion v1.85 folder (if your Mods Rebellion version number is anything higher than 1.85, that is fine as well) - Once the extraction is complete, open the DOTR folder and find a file called DOTRHOME.bat - Move DOTRHOME.bat into your Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion folder, usually found at C/Steam/Steamapps/common/Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion. - Open Sins of a Solar Empire, go to Options > Mods and enable DOTR. - Once the mod enables, I recommend you restart Sins to ensure maximum stability.
State of the Mod
Many things have changed since the last public version of the mod. So many that a changelog is virtually impossible. Some current new features are new UI, sounds, infantry system, and many others that will be covered in depth in the near future.
New Factions
With this version of the mod there are two new factions. The Systems Alliance, and the Terminus Mercenaries. These factions are still very rough, they are PLAYABLE. The bells and whistles though are still somewhat missing. Feel free to play them but please keep in mind they aren't final.

We have a discord channel with properly labeled channels for bug reports so that we can deal with them in an organized fashion. Please feel free to join us there.

So anytime I try and start a match, the game crashes on the loading screen. I have all of the DLC for it
Did you verify the integrity of your sins gamefiles?

We cant help you fix it if you dont give us any relevant information to help you. What versions of sins are you using? Do you have the dlc's. Have you verified your game through steam? You cant just say "it doesnt work" and expect us to know how to fix it...
the same happens to me. I'm using all DLC for Rebellion. Fully patched, steam version.
Using Large Address patch too.
Only 1 file failed validation and that was the exe due to the LAA patch. But I've tried running the mod pre and post patching with it and it still crashes.
LAA isn't needed anymore. The devs patched in a larger RAM limit. iirc, LAA will now break the game.

As stated in my previous statement, my game crashes when i start a match, the crash happens in the loading screen.
Sins Rebellion version 1.92, i have all DLC's, all files verified on Steam.

Are you using a custom map, or a save game. Please also check your victory conditions, please turn them all off.

i am having same problem as him and yes same info to
probably linked to non DotR maps - except stars it doesnt look like dotr uses any 'stock space bodies', so if you have any terran, desert, pirate base etc in your maps dotr cant help but dump you ;)
a shame though that even weightedcolonizables arent there >:(

Giving the Alliance faction a try. The mod is much better than the previous version. Excellent work. The Council faction AI hasn't colonised anything yet which is a problem I noticed in the previous version. Still, great work. The improvement is immediately noticeable.
Loving it so far! Though the starting point on my first map screwed me a little bit. Still re-learning the basics, but having fun. Great work!
Hi, I have a question about the Geth ships, are they supposed to target fighters and bombers over all other ships? there all doing it Frigates, Cruisers, and the Dreadnoughts which leaves them more or less ignoring combat ships and the carriers themselves and getting ripped a new one lol.

i realy like what you done with the planet system for the alliance , its really mass effect like , and the map designs as well
some questions :
how do you build the starbase with the alliance
how do you colonize planets with the reapers

The alliance doesnt have a starbase right now. As for the reapers, they arent really right now but build the ships a read the abilties.
I've played a couple games in spare time and have some feedback.
I've worked out why the Council wasn't colonising planets. They need to research something from tier two (Exogeni contracts?), and on the lower difficulties, the AI seems to have trouble with this. The Reapers have a similar problem.
It would be nice if a future version could implement something to counteract the so called "death ball" effect late game. The player who builds up the bigger fleet wins most of the time. You've already made it advantageous to micro capital ships, which I like. Ages the of the Federation: The Four years War is implementing a system where players have fewer ships (up to 50 or so) and abilities have to be manually triggered. Anti-matter (in ME's case Eezo) won't automatically regenerate. Fleets have to return to a station to regenerate or a specialist ship available in the mid to late game has to be built. This forces more tactical gameplay. The AI can still automatically generate and use abilities, but at a slower rate than in vanilla iirc. If this approach interests you, I suspect the Stellar Parallax team would be willing to share how they've made their approach work.
Every time I load the mod it says .4 not .7 not sure why and the game doesn't recognize the .7 as a mod

Hello, I have a problem with your mod, when I run a game there is plenty of white or green square everywhere and also when I press the button "escape" I see absolutely nothing is white. ..
But also when I go into "effect" the game crash with an error message which is very boring and also the button "quit" in the main menu of the game is gone. I do not know if I made a bad handling so that I have so much problem but if you had solutions to these problems, I thank you for it, thank you!
