-1-----Installation-------------------------------

1. Go to your Crysis folder

2. Paste the folder "dl" in your Game/Levels folder
Paste the "System.cfg" file in your Game folder (for the Xtreme FX Mod)
Paste "zz_dl1.pak" and "zz_dl2.pak" in your Game folder
WARNING : Remove all your other pak mod starting with the letter "z" (except ZPatch1.pak because it's a Crysis file patch)

3. Start Crysis

4. Open console (²), type "map dl" (without quotes) and press enter

6. Let's play !

-2-----Story and Objectives-----------------------

Date : Uchronic

Location : North Korea Mountains

Four highly trained American soldiers are sent to a remote valley in North Korea.
They must eliminate General Kyong and six of his henchmen.
Unfortunately the mission goes wrong and the ADAV which transported them is shot down by an anti-aircraft unit.
Since this event, no further contact has been established with them.
After this incident, the North Korean authorities took the decision to seal off all access to the valley and to reinforce the military personnel in the region.
You are Nomad, one of the best soldiers of the special forces, and you have been appointed to carry out an infiltration mission.
It's by a resupply train in which you'll be hidden that you'll enter a North Korean outpost.
You'll then have to fend for yourself to complete the following mission objectives :

- Find where the ADAV crashed and evacuate any survivors.
- Eliminate Kyong's six henchmen.
- Find and kill General Kyong.
- Find and destroy the anti-aircraft unit.
- It's possible that secondary objectives will be assigned to you during the mission.

You're equipped with the Nanosuit, beware as it seems that General Kyong and some of his men also have Nanosuit technology.
Regarding your equipment, it will be minimal to ensure your discretion during the trip.
Once you complete your mission objectives, a helicopter will pick you up at the evacuation point.
An air raid will then take place in order to remove all traces of your passage in the valley.

- More than a hundred enemies.
- Many trackview (intro, outro, sequence during the game).
- Detailed environment (North Korean outpost and base, clear forest, construction site, etc...).
- AI quality setup.
- Detailed and realistic sound environment.
- Mods or part of mod from the Crysis community (Maximum Immersion Mod, Rygel's texture pack, Xtreme FX Mod, Exodus Pines pack).
- Between half an hour and two hours of play (depending on the difficulty, your ability to play and your curiosity to explore !).

-5-----Known Issues-------------------------------

The 64bit version of Crysis never worked for me testing my map, even trying with all possible patches and cracks (crashes every time).
I also had a problem with flashing textures when I tested it in 32bit version.

To solve these two problems, I found this solution (on the retail version, I don't know if it works on the other versions) :

- Go to your Crysis installation folder
- Make a backup of the "Bin32" folder (in case it doesn't work)
- In my "DL.zip" archive, open the "fix_flashingtextures" folder
- Extract and replace the "Crysis.exe" file into your Crysis/Bin32 folder (this exe is from the "c1-launcher", an open-source replacement of the original Crysis executables)
- Right click on this new "Crysis.exe" file and click on "Properties", then "Compatibility" tab
- Set compatibilty mode to "Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)" and in "Settings" select "Run this program as administrator". Click "Apply" and "OK"
- Open "System.cfg" in your Crysis folder
- Add this line :

sys_budget_sysmem=32768
sys_budget_videomem=10240
r_TexturesStreaming=0
e_precache_level=1
r_driver=DX10

Replace the number in "sys_budget_sysmem" by your amount of RAM in Mb
Replace the number in "sys_budget_videomem" by your amount of video memory of your graphic card in Mb

- Launch Crysis with the "Crysis.exe" of the Bin32 folder
- I hope this works for you ! For me the game works in dx10 without lags and without flashing textures
