You want to lock down the mod? Are you crazy? It's just a mod, yes it may have been from ArmA. But it's still a mod. Get over it, there is no copyright infringement anyway.

that doesnt mean you can use something that SOMEONE ELSE MADE. yes any one can replicate them in a game without permission but if you're using models and textures someone else made without permission thats when it becomes a problem. and thats what everybody is saying. it has nothing to do with the military design being free to use

if you did read news, it says models are courtesy of their respective developers should they have been taken from arma 2 addons, also says
if model devs want proper credit, they should contact me or pheonix.
meh,never mind,i was also about on the russian forum to add english translation,however,theres new version of this mod,its 1.5.3,i have it and it has the mi 24 hind lol,now waiting to develop the english translation fully
I would like to point out that while i dont have a complete list of models and their authors (of original models) i know some models are from arma/addons of arma. Thus,i give credit.
I will say this!I have played ArmA for over 2 years now and even though some units look like them doesn't give anyone from Bo. and there little buddys to go around and claiming content is theirs. I love ArmA but I swear this is getting annoying. Just because it is military uniforms doesn't mean bohema made it. So if you are one of those people saying this is ArmA content just leave this damn thread for bug reports etc. GO BACK TO YOUR OWN DAMN GAME!!!!!

Ok, so i downloaded this mod a couple days ago. All was working well then out of the blue me and my friends couldnt join each others games. It kept coming up as Desync errors mod "Cold War" not found even though we both had it installed correctly. pls help :C
i download this, put in the mods folder, and activated it, and the second i did the game crashed, and every time i tried to load it, it crashes, im guessing thats not normal

heya mate,i just got the latest 2.05.15 version of assault squad and when i try launch from mod,it crashes,why? :(
never mind i aplied the patch and it worked+the english translation but the translation isnt fully :(,hope u will keep translating it :)

Mate if you aren't the one who made it but instead are just uploading it for english version then you have no proof its from arma 2..

Still though, the makers of arma didn't make up the units they took em from real life designs.. so it should be free to use by everyone.

Arma 2 has way more mods then Mne of War, the soldier models are EXACLY the same as in arma.

i have download cw mod 1.4.8.2 mod but i have errors on helicopters and errors on UH60 i don't have to choose UH60
