So... this variant has cut out a ton of other mods that i was used to being alongside CQM in your loader.
Most especially, heather... in fact i've gotten so used to the *bettter* heather that i literally screamed AHHH WHAT DID YOU DO TO HEATHER, WHYYYYYYY!?
like a little child with terrified suprise...
Any plans to change that?

burgermeister01 Can you take a look into Treme Clan quest? I've encounter a bug with StraussDream Npc not giving me his quest: Determined Obedience, while choosing sides between him and Nines. I've been forced to install old CQM version on top of new to bypass that bug and complete quest, and then rolled back to new version.
But it is possible that something happened with my save file, cuz i crashed once during quick save while doing that quest, but still can you take a look? Because old version install helped me bypass that bug. For the moment i finished playing as tremere, and that save with bug was overwriten.

'Balance of madness 'Quest progress was ok, until time when you need to speak with Strauss. By the end of dialog with him, i was unable to get 'Determined Obedience'. In other words my quest log didn't want to update after speaking with Strauss. But i could speak with Nines to get 'Revolution' quest log update. So, it happened that i had 'Revolution' but had no 'Determined Obedience' which i was unable to fail\complete. I've tried to kill Strauss, but in this case sire won't appear. Installing old CQM version on top of new helped me to bypass bug, update quest log with 'Determined Obedience' and 'Revolution' and then move forward to complete 'balance of Madness'.
I think that could be a bug in new version, but it seems only i alone encouter that bug so far.
It is also possible that it was problem with my save file, but i honestly don't belive in that. if it was a corrupted save file then reinstallation should have no effect, but it helped.
P.s. except for that, everything was perfect in my gameplay.
Thanks so much for this information! You maybe are just the only person to have reported the bug, but it's the first I've heard. Honestly, I would not be surprised at all. There was a bug with that part of the quest during testing. I thought it was fixed, but it would be unfortunate if I missed some important detail =(

Hey, I confirmed this bug! Ack! I hate that. I will have to deploy a bug patch in a couple weeks with any other issues people find. Fortunately this one isn't too bad. Until then, if you are interested in fixing it for yourself you can do that by opening the file:
vampire the masquerade/CQM/vdata/system/quests_santamonica.txt
and changing line 1189 to look like so:
"Title" "obedience"
One little line breaks everything lol! I wouldn't recommend "rolling back" your CQM installation as you did, as it has good odds of breaking your game majorly.
I'm glad I was able to help. I've installed old version on top of new just to update quest log, and then rolled back to new version again :) After that incident there was no bugs at all. But it is good that bug is not only my alone. I've finished playing as tremere, and noticed a lot of interesting things during my game time. This mod is Best of the best.
Hey burgermeister01, this time it won't be a bug report, but a suggestion for upcoming new versions. In this new version i've noticed that you can learn protean from Beckett ( maybe it is patch+ stuff, dunno ), if you will talk to him about your Inside beast condition near end game events. I would love to see more of such things in game. For ex. Jack could teach you a Potence if you will be very chatty with him during gameplay. Or maybe Prince could teach you how to use Presence when you will brought him sarcophagus, if you were loyal to him by that point. In other words i would love to see more options to learn minor disciplines from other clans.
I like that idea. If i'm not wrong, when telling Beckett you improved your powers, he will commend you and teach protean discipline if you not from gangrel clan, and celerity if you are from gangrel clan. This is unofficial patch stuff and i think they changed protean reward to fortitude or something else because protean is to much clan specific. It's like tremeres teaching a non clan newcomer guy their thaumaturgy discipline.
Hi! i'm encountering a bug with the gangrel. You see, I can't level up animalism past level 3. I even tried to "boost" it via the console but the last two levels (pestilence and free the beast within) simply won't show up. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Sounds pretty weird. What options did you use when you installed the mod? That is, did you install CE or Comp Mod, UP+, etc?

after many years I found this Mods and I'm super excited. However, I can't use the discipline of Tremere like I used to do before the Clan Quest mod.
I installed the whole Mod twice. Nevertheless, the discipline of thaumaturgy and dominate don't go above level one (by dominante: trance) or level 4 (thauma: theft of life or so alike).
I installed all options except the arsenal mod and alternative poster. I hope you can help me (because Tremere is my favorite clan to play!)!

Hey, did you install the mod with Camarilla Edition Lite? There is known issue with that where the higher level of disciplines aren't accessible through the scroll wheel. Annoying, I know, but there is a workaround. You can use the key bind menu (K by default) to set hotkeys to the upper level disciplines and you can still use them then.
Yes, I installed it with Camarilla Edition Lite. Thank god that isn't such a big problem (but annoying, like you said). I didn't even know there was such a key for bind menu. Yet, it worked! :D Thanks a lot!
burgmeister01, apparently a large portion of my saves are not detected by the game anymore, although the files themselves are still present in the save folder. my last save is also corrupt. any advices on getting the old ones back ?
What's the full path to the "save" folder you are looking at? Mind you, you can't play old saves after installing this new version; you have to start a new game.
I have tried this on both the latest clanquest and this one but when i get someone to join me all the dialog options work except for posses every time i tried to select it nothing happens. Can someone help me out with this

Guys, is it normal if npc (mortal citizens) are staying on the place and not moving? I dont have this problem with clean game version, only with CQM 3.1. How can I fix this? Thank you in advance!
How do you change the looks of each clan? I got this quest a while back on my old computer, just installed it, but it doesn't have the option to change how they look. The Brujah looked so much better and they got rid of the glasses for the Tremere.

Did you remove Velour's FULL private dance sequence
So i installed it into the vampire folder clicking the "full installation" it created a desktop icon. When i double click the icon it says it cannot find the file? I used my old icon and then the game opens to the old game? Any help?
So can anyone give a proper link to these mods. I can't download them from this site and there are no newer uploads of CQM or other various mods I want. I keep getting "Malicious website blocked" notices when i try to download the mods through the popup window after clicking to Download them.
Also as far as I know I'm clicking the right download link. The red rectangle within the mod description space up above our comments.
Hi. I'm having problems with the Protean discipline with my gangrel. I just cant select any power other than level one. I've tryed with and without the command adjustment but couldnt get to use any protean power but level one.
I've installed this mod over a clean VTMB copy and with no other mod but those included on this patch. I installed all mods, except the loading screen mod.
Any help?

Ok so I installed it on VTMB. Thing is I have windows 10 and up 9.2 installed in the game. It seems to have loaded the mod up. Only thing is I don't see the flames in the main menu. I see the clan quest thingy and the new loading screen, but is it a reason to be worried? I mean I have played it on windows 7 a while back and I specifically remember the flames being there. Have they been removed from this version? Does the mod work for me? I have played a bit and I only got one Bloody Red interaction and that was with the rich guy from the front of the haven. Is this normal? I mean for instance I haven't had any red interactions that were red or for instance when I went to Therese I wasn't able to try and dominate her. I think that was an option in a version of this mod. Sorry but I am a noob :)
Desperately waiting for the clan quest mod including the unofficial patch 9.6 (final). Any news on that? :)

Good Day to sir, I created a video back in 2013 on how to install your mod onto an Intel Cider version of VtMD:B for Mac OS X. After you finally returned from your hiatus and released 3.1 I couldn't have been more excited. But I've run into a bit of a dilemma when I install your mod onto the application I run into the issue of where the game will display the message: Application Error, Problem starting up Steam. Even adding the patch doesn't seem to help. So I would like to ask if you could possibly assist me in getting around this bug. Perhaps create a version that doesn't use steam at all. I look forward to your response.

Hello, i've been playing VtMB for ages now but this is the first time im using any mod. Yours looks nice so i wanted to give it a try but im getting "problem starting up steam" message. Now i wouldn't bother you with this but i'm on macbook. How can i fix this?
