campaign is broken, playing 'Chrono Storm'on easy saw attacks from 1 kirov, 3 apocalypses tanks, 10 rhino tanks and nuke launch in less than 2 mins. Dunno if the difficulty slider is messed up or if this change was on purpose. Additionally same insane difficulty spike with final NOD mission. Please fix!
Probably the migration from Ares 0.8 to 2.0p broke some mission hacks. I have to do a bugfix release.
Bug:
Skirmish Game/Skirmish settings = revealed map setting is missing ( checked on 1.7 working )

That isn't a bug, it was disabled/hidden until I discover why the crates crashes (that is the real bug).
I am receiving " 'Fatal' string Manager failed to initialized properly" message. How can this be fixed? It happens when I try to play skirmish game.

How to fix problem:
COMMAND AND CONQUER RED ALERT 2
FATAL* * * String Manager failed to initialize properly
FIRST WAY
-----------
1.Go to the game directory
2.Find RA2 application (In this case the only RA2 game file is "gamemd.exe")
3.Right click and troubleshoot compatibility
4.Try recommended settings
5.Start program and next
6.Fix
7.Play
SECOND WAY
-----------
1.Go to game directory
2.Right click on RA2 and properties (In this case the only RA2 game file is "gamemd.exe")
3.Compatibility
4.Run this program in compatibility and select
5.Windows XP service pack 2
6.Than go to apply and ok
7.Play
Idk how to fix it but I launched the game it loads up and only takes me to the main menu and the only available buttons for me to click is the options, network and quit game buttons.
Or the downlaod is corrupt or the installation path is too long (specially in Win7-8) and the installation went wrong. I can't think in other cases that you can loose some buttons...
nice job thank you but: 1) Why don't we see the chemical missile at launch ?
2) What is the benefit of the carts that collect the gold to chemical plan in nod faction As long as chemical missiles don't need gold, they only need time to be ready ?
Due to a bug I still release this Super Weapon like the Nod magic Tiberium Missile from Tiberium Wars.
Because the Vein moster logic can't return in RA2 that structure simply got the Refinery feature (and gold/crystals is only if you check that option in multiplayer).
Thanks for the clarification, please. We need a map engine (random map) Augmented by ares2 patch I mean an automatic map maker can create desert maps as well
Not possible or I don't know if such thing exists outside the YR game.
It is in the original Yuri game, but desert maps cannot be produced
original yuri's revenge game + ares patch : existing ,and We can produce desert maps too
