The Byzantine Empire fell in 1453 and was taken over by the Ottoman Turks. After about seven centuries, the Ottoman Empire fell and Turkey got independence Middle Eastern countries that were under Ottoman rule were given to countries such as France and the United Kingdom.
ALT HISTORY:
But on November 30th 1921, a rebellion that spread from Spain to the Middle East erupted and it lasted until October 25th 1934. The Treaty Of Athens was held. It was decided that the countries that started the rebellion (Yugoslavia,Bulgaria,Turkey,Greece and Spain) unify as one and become The Byzantine Republic. After a few deals with France,Italy,The United Kingdom and other nations, The Byzantine Republic got all the land that The Byzantine Empire had at it's highest.
WHAT THE MOD HAS:
1.The Byzantine Republic and all the land the Empire had at it's highest
2.A new type of advisor (Monarchist) he gives neutrality more popularity
3.A leader trait for neutral leaders (King's Son) it doesn't have any effects
4.Two Navies (One in Sicily and one in Granada)
5.Plenty of divisions all around the nation and each division has unique names
