Description:

BFM (Brazilian Forces Mod) is a stand-alone modification to arma 3 that Brings over 30 retextured vehicles to the game, as well as ported vehicles, gear and some 14 weapons from arma 2, over 10 custom weapons made from the ground up, a bunch of new custom uniforms and equipment and 13 new factions to play as.

The focus of the mod is to bring the Brazilian armed forces (Army, Navy, Air Force and UN peace Keepers) to the 2035 armaverse setting. However, BFM also adds complementary BLUEFOR, INDEPENDENT and OPFOR factions for you to raise havoc on the battlefield. This mod is perfect for missions regarding brazil and south america in 2035 and beyond scenarios.

The complementary factions being:

NATO (south America), Russian Armed Forces, British Armed Forces, South Atlantic Treaty (Venezuelan Armed Forces), Guyana Defense forces, Argentina Armed Forces, Hoplite PMCs, Drug Traffic and Colombian Guerrilla.

all of these extra factions have their own retextured uniforms and assets. The mod Adds a total of 24 new Weapons to play with, including Assault Rifles, Light Machineguns, Sniper Rifles and Pistols:

AK-74 (+ GL Version), Ak-74U, Colt M4A1; Colt M16A3 (+ GL Version), Colt 1911, FN Minimi, Glock 17, HK 416D, Imbel ia2 7.62 (+GL version), Imbel ia2 5.56; Imbel Para-Fal (M964), M-60, M24 Remington, M40A5 Remington, Carl Gustaf M2, Igla, M-47, Metis, RPG-7 and Stinger.

Many with different customization options, different textures and attachments. (except for the ones ported from arma 2).

Use:

Do not open, re-work or redistribute this mod without the permission of the author(s). All of the Custom Models and Arma 2 ports present in this addon were either licensed as Free-to-Use (APL-SA), thus free to be used in this addon, or permition has been expressly given by the creators of the custom models to the BFM authors to post this content.

Important note:

The prowler's additional KITs are separate objects that can be spawned and attached to the vehicle via "this attachTo" script in the 3den editor. The Prowler's orginal model remains original and untouched.

The mod is 100% compatible with Multiplayer servers utilization.

Recommended: For optimal texture quality, i recommend leaving textures always on Ultra at the settings.

License is APL-SA.

Not very much into the new custom Menu? You can always deactivate it by accessing the addons folder, within BFM's root folder and moving the 'BfmBackground.pbo' and 'BfmBackground.pbo.Tcotsifis.bisign' files to the optionals folder, within BFM's root folder.
